    This motor had been sitting for a long time. Will running the motor this way cause excessive wear? Any way to fix it with out rebuilding the motor? The motor probably only has 5000 miles on it since it was last rebuild but that was the early 90's. I also noticed when I changed the spark plugs that some of them had some crud on them.

    After the motor gets hot I get a lot of "fumes" coming from the breather on the valve cover. Is this normal, or am I burning oil somehow?

    I have an 04 GSXR 600 and I love it. I"m 6'4" so I had to make some handle bar risers for it but besides that its a great bike. But don't plan on going over 2 hours or you'll be hurting.

    I'm using the T56. I bought the stock slave with the GM m.c. for a 96 camaro. I then the s.s.t. hose and went to my local to get a $5.00 fitting that they crimped on the hose. It is a compression fitting so all I had to do was simply slide one end on the hard line coming from the Datsun m.c. and tighten the nut. ( I went here www.cardinalrubber.com 's local branch). This way I didn't have to gut the slave and tap it bleed it, etc,.

    I'm running the stock datsun mc. I know just about everyone is hating on it but its been working great for me. All I had to do was to extend the fork (which has a cotter pin back to the petal) by welding on a nut. After this modification the clutch works flawlessly and I couldn't be happier. Just an option if it doesn't work out.

    I'm no engineer but 1/4" steel is extremely strong in those short distances. If you are worried about it you could get some tempered steel. However I would have a machine shop fabricate it because its almost impossible to drill and tap. Just my $.02
