  1. first thing ya do is put a coil on it, then the intake, header, exhaust. when she gets tired of working on it, or wants to go faster, upgrade the cam. if you get a 82 with the p79, get it decked, or put a n47 (for the time being) to raise the cr when the intake is off for the header job. other than that it gonna cost big dolla figures. the big tb is last, cant really do much with that untill the cr is up and cam is in.
  2. id get a new one put on like bobit!! then become a star what would ya do if you were a canadian?
  3. send me the mini, and give me 4 days, you will have your wish in no time!! do you want led lights, or period style.
  4. your gonna need some time with higher temps, at least 65, for 24 hours. the reducer you should use for ppg in cold temps is dt860 i think. it been a while since ive done it in that kind of cold.

    Exhaust Note

i have some clips, check the other exhaust thread, i-6 exhaust noise err something. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=118053
  6. i was waiting for your comment. jeez you know me too well.
  7. another really well built n/a here. was running 11.8:1 on the street, but it gets expensive with the recent hike in gas prices. as well as zylene prices. i bought a 2mm gasket and brought it down to 10.8:1. havent done a 1/4 mile run and weigh in yet to calculate "real world hp" im trying for 250rwhp if ya want to know. not far out, but not easy.
  8. ummm, the cops here use anything for undercover, honduhs, nissans fords, mazdas, anything to look normal, ill make anything a cop car, no problem, and the average idiot would never know. and the pix, well our boss is very easy going, he likes the pix. but if the city councellors come thru, we put white paper up to cover the ladies of the bay. its pretty cool, my bro is the other person working in the outfit bay with me, and we got the tunes cranked all day long by ourselves.
  9. if you want the white face, take the guages apart and go to a vinyl sign place. they will scan you guages and make a print out of them, you can choose colors and customize the printing. then go on ebay (for the s130's anyway) and buy led bulbs, just type led bulbs into the search. you can get 10 bulbs for 10 bucks shipped!!
  10. nope, not a chance, would have to hack them shorter, would look ghetto. i have a black set for sale. pm me if interested.
  11. too bad im in canada, ive got my basic for structures, and worked on 737 200's and 300's. plus built the good old murphy moose at murphy aircraft.
  12. i work for the local police, but as a mechanic. i outfit and fabricate on police cars. mostly crown vics. but get to work on lots of common police vehicles. i make undercover vehicles and try to trick the public.
  13. i have the air dam, cheap and little or no rust or damage, ill pm you and see if i can get pix. i also have a ureathane one too.
  14. you ever get my payment cold? i named it in your paypal.
  15. they are also very tall compared to the i6 motor. i have one in a truck, with auto, just a torque pig. 4 speed tranny isnt much better. you can get headers, and deck them to raise comp ratio, and change the intake and carb, but that is all youd want to do. no revs, 5500 at the absoute most.
  16. prolly gain 15-20 hp, but test it at the drag strip b4 and after, then if you know the cars weight, you can do math and figure out hp.
  17. i have 275000 km on my car. 170,000 miles, not the most, but for a cdn car, its survied the rust monster
  18. the s130 side covers are much wider than the s30 cars.
  19. i drive in terenchal downpoors here, and my engine never sucks up water into my k+n. they sound cool for sure. the more mods you got (especially the big tb) the louder it gets too. like a reverse bov!
  20. i thought it was also elimintaing some rotating mass, thus getting quicker revs. id say the balancing is one of the best things to do, im kicking myself for not doing it to my motor. gonna have to pull the motor again one day.
  21. i have the motorsport bar, its mount on some heavy plates, and got heims, man that thing works well. so for giggles, i bought a 7 dollar bar for my girls 03 mitsubishi gallant, it is mounted very cheaply, and the bar has no heims, but is adjustable. believe it or not, it actually helped. i was impress at such a cheaply made part. i cant even make one for 7 bucks! kinda goes to show anything will help, as long as its not pushed hard ina racing aplication
  22. you can check the header with a straight edge, just make sure the device being used is straight. ceramic coating isnt needed in every application, they make some wicked paint now that works fine, even under hot conditions. the ceramic will help under hood temperatures, and look nice for longer.
  23. thanks spork, there always is a downside. hmm so if i run the engine, and spray paint into the intake...... j/k ill get it powder coated inside and out, the powder can go and stick in places like that. and i just started to figure out aluminum t.i.g, so it may be aluminum after all.
  24. steel intake is good with me, i cant T.I.G. aluminum yet, so i work with what i got. thin steel tube for an intake is just as light and can be painted nicely so no real diff.
