  1. Congratulations. I been tied down for 40 years. If you keep working at it it ain't too bad. but you gotta work at it every day. (Just like a Z)
  2. I actually had a rewarding moment returning from a miserible trip to Portland, after the recent rotten weather. I was in the center second lane passing another truck on packed snow and ice at about 35 miles an hour when a fairly new Jeep Grand Cherokee, complete with snowboards and skis on the top rack, whipped around me at about twice my speed. he driver got beside me and layed on his horn while flipping me off. I guess he was pissed that I wasn't staying in the slow lane. About five miles further down the road I had happy experience of seeing this same jerk standing looking at his jeep that was now sitting on top of the oleander bu;shes in the median. Just to show that I am a wonderful person, ant that all truck drivers are courtious, I honked my air horns at him, and waved. Geez that felt great after three days of hanging chains.
  3. It seem like there are a lot of people like the guy who made the sensors who seem to think that the everybody is out of step but them. H:ope he gets his sh// together in time for you to go racing.
  4. Just the tip of the iceberg?? Oh pleeze Gawd let me die!

  7. After spending three days going to Portland (260 milwa each way) and throwing two sixty dollar tire chains. things have maybe turned around. What more could a person ask for, I bought a laser level and discovered that my driveline is lined up with the output shaft of the transmission. Then I actually managed to get the bedroom closet door fixed. And Best of all, I fianlly became a Senior member, not just a senior citiZen. I think I'll quit for the day while I'm ahead.
  8. No thanks, I t hink I'd rather have the ME four-twelve.
  9. Man, what a car. Even if you don't like the looks when you read the performance numbers it gets a whole lot prettier!!
  10. From the pic, I thought it looked like the Audi/ 350Z/ or any of the other round lumps you see on the hiway every day. But hey, what do I know? As for the GT40, If I had the money for a new one, I'd buy the ERA GT40 mark II. But that's only becauyse Jim Hall doesn't build 2Fs.
  11. I have charter broadband, can I sue them for making me crazy(er)?
  12. ZmeFly, Origanally Novas were fours or sixes. Nova was the name GM used for the ChevyII hardtop.

  17. JK You hit it right on the head. I had a good 350 so I just kitted it and bought a Olds converter. (slightly highter stall) I have high hopes of scoring a Ford 8.8 rear so I can get a taller gear.
  18. Its good to see another Z31 . What transmission did you use? I just got my front mounts in and am looking for ideas for the rear cross member. I am going with a Th350, and it will almost fit on the stock rear member.
  19. I like it. Would this look good with a split window like the early stingrays?
  20. Supercharger eh? Seen the cover of the new Summit catalogue?
  21. Wasn't there a post by someone who wanted to build a small displacement high rpm engine? Like the old Beatles song, "All you need is bucks"
