I bought a lincoln precision tig 225 oniline about 6 months ago and am totaly in love with the machine.For the cost of $1900 for the machine and another $500+- for accesories i definately feel i got what i paid for or better.Beautiful on aluminum and any steel welding and i regularly weld at or above 200 amps for reasonable periods of time without a liquid cooled torch.I also hear good about the htp but have never seen one.And what do have for power service in your intended work area?I bought mine and didnt realize i couldnt run it lol,ended up having to spend like $500 on wiring to be able to use it in my shop.This is what i bought:

Well,you did get a century(which is a good thing).You do in fact get what you pay for but sometimes we get lucky and get something good at a junk price.

All you have to do is tap into anything that is always hot.It doesnt take much power for that function,it just keeps your settings stored.If you have trouble finding an easy hot wire(just get a test light)all you will need to do if you cant is go straight to the battery with it.Plus going straight to the battery allows you to be sure you arent interfering with anything else and it will never reset unless you take that wire off or disconnect the battery.

How long are you giving the fix to work?,maybe you have residual oil still burning?

I would,unfortunately i live in maine and the shop is in like utah or some crap!

Well just for a comparison(wish i took pictures),the other day my friend broke his motor mount off the frame on his jeep 4 wheeling.I had to pack up my lincoln 135 mig drive it out into the woods and power it with a crappy generator that did not supply enough power,just so i could then weld rusty metal upside down laying in mud with wind blowing the argon away.The result...300% cleaner welds than those pictured above.Now with some perspective i reallly wonder what the hell happened there lol.

That's my take on the show anyway. Lo f&%!ing L!! Exactly,but that is just what 90% of this countries viewers want to see,whining,bitching,sluring and oh yes an abundance of drama.If half of this "reality" tv was actual reality there would only be reasonable people watching the shows,as we all know that drastically narrows down the audience.

Actually the show started at the bottom of the hill and then they started digging into the ground.Always thought it was pretty gay,between the host's douchebaggery,the rules,bad line ups and obvious stagings,i'll give it 9 thumbs down.
