    Vented Gas Cap?

I didn't say it was I only said it shouldn't be! It seemed like there was a string of posts getting tossed to the shed. Derek
  2. Sorry for the multiple posts but I want to make sure previous buyers get this info http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1065897#post1065897 I'm also offering a timing plate to make life easier. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1065900#post1065900 Post #4
  3. I just uploaded instructions here http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1065897#post1065897
  4. Since you have to remove your timing plate to mount the sensor I made up blank indicator plates to mount on the left side. $15.00 if you buy a kit. They're a real pain to make and there's a bit of hand (hammer) work in them so they're not show quality. Derek
  5. I wish! I ended up buying all kinds of little stuff on ebay. Iguidance works ok but I'm not thrilled with it. I chose it because it plays nice with road runner. I've only used it a couple of times and that may be the problem!. Derek

    Car PC

Looks like a plan. I'm running the jetway with the Atom 330 and have Zero complaints. If you can fit the 12" then I say go for it! Derek
  7. Hi Adam Welcome aboard. There is a Z car club in Gainesville. We meet every month (usually) at either Blue Highway pizza or at Bill Coffey's garage. Check out this post http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=150120 This is a great time. Derek
  8. have a post in the vendors forum. I thought I would update this thread as well. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=153254 Thanks Derek
  9. Thanks. I'm working on a PDF install sheet as we speak. I'll update with some install pics soon. Derek
  10. Well I think I finally worked out all the differences in the dampers and have settled on making the adapters fit two groove damper from the AC equipped 75 through 78 280. This is the damper The outer groove takes the same size belt as the inner groove. This is not the right damper I have 6 assemblies available. This is an assembly It includes a longer crank bolt and the bolts to attach the sensor mounts. The price is $175.00 plus shipping. I also have 2 ford coil brackets that are available for $35.00 each. You have to buy an assembly to buy the bracket. I'm not offering them separately right now. I'm only shipping to the US as I have to drive the stuff to the post office and stand in line to ship anywhere else. Sorry. I had to bump the price a little but it's still a pretty good deal to get EDIS on your car quickly. Thanks Derek
  11. The "there's got to be a better way" workers have been beat up for so long by the "don't upset the cart" workers in this country that I'm not sure if we'll ever recover. Self employed, (synonymous with broke) and thinking of better ways every day! Derek
  12. I used the relay board on mine and i can't imagine doing it without. It made everything so much easier to hook up. Derek

    Vented Gas Cap?

Before this gets sent to the tool shed for necroposting can't you just delete his (and mine for the matter) post. If it's sent to the tool shed then it closes the post. This never mattered to me before but that mcmaster part number is exactly the vent I was looking for for my fuel system. Just a thought Derek
  14. Here you go http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1061757#post1061757 Derek
  15. I did a count earlier. You had like 8 posts in under an hour! Congrats:-D Derek
  16. Some of the early series 1 cars had two levers. one for the choke and one for the throttle. So If you have one lever it's the choke. Derek
  17. Looks good! The wider opening make life easier. I don't think I could getaway with ne center vent though! What front end are you running? Megasquirt, navigation and the lack of running more than one app at a time on the iphone keeps me using the carputer. But I really wish the iphone did all that! Derek
  18. Hi Greg No plans to make the adapters. I'll certainly release the 3D model if you know anyone that can machine it for you. Derek

  20. Thank you for hating me. I feel warm all over! It's called "Ride Runner" formally known as "Road Runner" until Warner bros came down on him! Or so the story goes. Here is everything you need to know about carputers. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/ There is a whole lot of reading on there. Here's a link to the front end forum http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/front-ends/ Derek
  21. I don't know what your planning on doing but Rhino 3d might work out for you. There are quite a few add ons that you can purchase that might do the things you need. Derek
  22. Start by downloading this http://sketchup.google.com/ And then send me your email and I'll send you a 3D model of the head and intake flanges from my manifold. By building it in 3D you will have worked out all the details before you ever begin to cut material. Less chance of building yourself in a corner as well. I haven't played with sketchup too much but people are doing some pretty cool stuff with it. Your drawing skills are about the same as mine. Crappy! That's what drove me to CAD 15 years ago! Derek
