70-78 will fit the hole, th only difference is the defroster wires. Oh but don't get a 2+2 window.

The springs should settle a bit after you drive the car. I'd give it a couple of days of driving and then see how they look. -

when you are in gear you are using the clutch surface just not the clutch pedal. -

We do have some pretty good speed shops local but I am careful to tell them what car I need it for. Conversations seem to go just fine when we are talking about V8 stuff until the "Datsun" word comes up, then all of a sudden nothing they sell will fit my car. Not being in a position to "go else where" I just leave the Datsun word out. -
Have you seen the polished Edelbrocks? Not sure if black would look good unless you add some more.

Old tires, no traction... etc. Thanks for bringing this up Bill! Low 14's might sound slow but we were toasting almost everything we raced. Including several Mustangs, Camaro's, G35's etc. But that was the other car. I am shootnig for a 12 second car so I don't have to install a roll bar. Not that I don't want to be safe, but if my car has a roll bar in it I won't fit!

If you have everything ready to go (JTR kit purchased, JTR book read) i think 120 hours is reasonable. One hour to pull the 6 might be a little optimistic but other than that I think it can be done. Put together a project plan day by day and try to stick to that as your guide. If there is anyone in your area that can help (that has done the swap) you will save tons of time.

dang I must need to raise my prices! The "extreme" part can't be answered unless we know what engine (with modifications, and transmission you are running. It also depends on what you are building the car for, as well as how long/short your streets are.

The box for under the dash, evaporator, and heater module and the cheapest control panel (because it will be out of sight anyway). I found the place on line and it was cheaper that the local vendors. I'll have to llok it up later though.
