I know I filled my 75 4 -speed from the shifter hole once, but I tried it on my rebuilt 5-speed and it is not working. This is not a time issue I have waited a month and it isn't seeping in. Lucky for me I can get the fill plug out and will be going that route.

I think I found a problem. When is the ECU green LED supposed to come on? I don't see it lighting with or without the key on. Does this indicate a problem?

I seem to have power as far as the positive terminal of the coil. Nothing after that. I have an ohm meter and can test continuity. Is there a test for the ignitor? I have an ohm meter and can test for continuity.

Reminds me of the time I saw this done on one of those stupid home improvement shows. I thought I would give it a shot by making a coffee table. First test failed, but the second try worked out ummm well? I know own a 650 lb coffee table that requires a floor jack for moving around. It sure has a cool factor and quite the conversation piece.

That is what I tried but no spark to the plugs. Am I missing something else?

If I would have kept a vented hood i would consider them.

I am attempting to transplant an 81 turbo engine into my 75 Z and continue to have wiring questions. I have read and re-read the how to's and it is just not getting through my thick head. I actaully have a whole 240 parts car. Roof is gone but the rest of the structure is still there.

I thought that was your car, it is nice to see the more detailed pictures and a car well done. Well almost, a different hood would look nice.

Vinny, I am glad to hear you have actually seen my hood and can appreciate that they are made to "standard". I am not sure who's hood you saw, I only hope it is the one I actually sell. You are also correct that I did no "performance" evaluation of the scoop placement I choose aesthetics over function since I have more horsepower than I can get to the ground as it is. I am disappointed you named your hood the name of my L6 car though. : )

If you want one delivered to your door within 10 days or so just let me know. If opening the front scoop is an issue that can be included at no extra charge. I choose to have them built closed to allow the customer the choice of openings. I also promise you the surface is as good as any other product that exists. I worked with some of the best fiberglass and fabricators to create my hood and worked very hard to keep the price reasonable but the quality exceptional. Shipped to your door (lower 48 states) for $500. I'll be happy to discuss my product and the customers needs with anyone that is interested. If my product won't suit your needs I don't want you to buy it. I have seen to many people buy something they wanted only to get frustrated trying to make it work.

I think i got it figured out thanks to Tony D. It seems I have an aftermarket starter solenoid so it wasn't showing up on any of the wiring diagram I have. But I that link is a Keeper! The coloring sure makes it better that the one in the FSM. Thanks

I need a clear picture of the wiring between the Starter solenoid and the starter. I need this for reassembly of my 75 Z car.

I am just getting this car ready for the track so we will see what kind of numbers i can pull with it. I am not sure if anything has been changed since it has changed hands a couple of times. BUT, if it pulls anything better than a 12.0 I'll be pissed since that will get me thrown off the track without having a roll bar. If that happens the engine will go in the Chevelle and I'll build something tame enough to stay right around low 12's.
