  1. Have you considered doing it yourself? http://www.caswellplating.com/
  2. Did you get this sorted? If not try DSXTuning. He did my basic tune (tire size, trans, removed the security, etc.) for $50. He's on FB here: https://www.facebook.com/DSX.Tuning
  3. Not sure, you'd have to ask him. Here is his listing for a switch, the rebuild service is $75. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-10-73-7-76-260z-280z-RESTORED-Headlight-Switch-SUPER-QUALITY-/261874140485?hash=item3cf8ea4545&vxp=mtr
  4. You could use 16ga steel if you formed it into a smaller hat channel like you have. Forming sheet adds a great deal of rigidity. Make it a 1/4" tall hat cahnnel.
  5. There is a dude on Ebay that will rebuild the headlight switch for $75. Makes them like new. Mine was real sensitive when I sent it to him, but like new when it came back. Not the same as modern switch but almost.
  6. Nevermind. Ordered through RHDJapan.
  7. Updates. He has the other side finished now. https://www.facebook.com/RoyalworksSpeedShop/photos/a.553129474782125.1073741830.264077227020686/869442829817453/?type=1&theater
  8. Judging by the hat channel shape I would have to assume that would have been for added strength.
  9. I think have them. Mine is a 75. Lemme know if 280zex don't work.
  10. The door pulls will eventually be carbon fiber. He does some really nice work. Have a look at the Z he widened by 2 inches on each side.

    Door Panels

John Royal is currently making some nice door panels. Looks like a good updated alternative. https://www.facebook.com/RoyalworksSpeedShop/photos/a.553129474782125.1073741830.264077227020686/865931613501908/?type=1&theater
  12. 3M makes an adhesive remover that is very effective and safe.
  13. Steel side skirts on RoyalWorks project.
  14. I posted about this in a different thread here: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/122651-anyone-seen-this-build/?do=findComment&comment=1147013 It has a link to the build thread on lateral-g. This car is a really nice departure from the norm. Some fresh ideas all around, and the front end is super sweet. Can't wait to see this finished. Also the interior bits are killer as well.
  15. http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=37247 Reminds me of the 240 concept.
  16. You're better off with pictures from here. But give me your address and email a copy.
  17. i was just searching for one yesterday and only found one new MC on Ebay I think. $199. Rebuilts are all over Ebay starting at $60, but I wanted new. I gave up and bought the Wilwood for $121 from Summit. Becareful though, some like to put the rebuilt part in very small type. I think Silvermine has a new 15/16 for $125. Only problem with SM is the shipping. $38!
  18. You trimming the wire before you start? That little burnt end can keep the arch from starting consistently.
  19. Ordered one as well for my LS swap, should be here tomorrow.
  20. If you want to try my old set with like 3 miles on them I'll sell them for $25.
  21. I originally bought a set of those in red (high heat). I think the guy makes the sets. The wire is MSD, but not the boot or plug at the coil. I threw a misfire DTC. Changed to real MSD's, no more code. Coulda been the luck of the draw but for another $12 you get a set made by MSD. I also added fiberglass sock things at the headers. The annoying brown spot in the photo is the skin from an almond. I can eat enough of them and get almond crumbs on stuff, sorry.
  22. You'd think MSA would some decent, up to date pics of this shit.
