  1. 1. nope, I never had one of those product work in my car 2. yap, you can raise the pressure by clamping the return line
  2. you should be able to get a singal from negative coil wire.
  3. I used 3 inch U bends and some tight 90 deg 3inch bend.
  4. I have heard of drilling a hole thing too. I think my freind done that on his. But you know Qjet was never meant to support that kind of HP.
  5. I have a friend who's running Qjet on 455 Pontiac and he makes it work. Except running little lean on top rpm. He dynoed almost 400WRHP with it. And 20mpg. (with double overdrive 6 speed)
  6. I think I throw the rest of the set away. but I'll see what I can come up with. Thanks guys
  7. I'm still running L26 with P79 plus turbo cam. I would go with L28ET but I have not been having a reason to swap the motor yet It's different Walker. Walker that you are talking about works at http://www.speedsouth.com/index.asp
  8. If it doe sit when the car sit idle, it's probably exhaust valve guides.
  9. We gave the car 2-3 deg timing and turn the boost a turn (now it holds solid 12psi, after spiking 14psi ) We also turn the fuel pressure up to 44psi. The timing helped alot, it alone gave me 20ft/lb. I'm pretty inpressed with Z31 setup. I mean I dynoed those number with stock 265cc injectors@44psi. A/F was 11.8-12:1. Pretty consistant too.
  10. Update, I re-dynoed today. 253.8RWHP/275.6ft/lb I taold you I had more. All done on stock Z31 ECU. not too shabby
  11. Flapper door type is AFM (airflow meter) and MAF is mass air flow like Z31 and Z32. I just got HKS S-AFR and it can do both 0-5v and 5-0v
  12. I got a offset 3 inch in/out Borla Pro XS on mine.
  13. I go with a large group. Last time I paid $30 for 30min.
  14. May be a bad EFI relay. You got aftermarket ECU though right?
  15. No programable ECU for me as of now, too many veriable to mess up. I'm bad about playing with a fire I did get that HKS S-AFR so I can adjust the A/F now. I'm just waiting on the tach signal converter.
  16. Well, I think I just dynoed good the first time. With 30 deg. cooler weather, and more aggressive timing. I dynoed 209WHP with 14.5:1 A/F ratio, while this time, I dynoed 224WHP with 10.8:1 A/F ratio. I've been pretty conservetive with timing and thing, just be on the safe side. I think I can squeez little bit more HP with my new set up while the other one was pretty much on max. I think stock T3 is more effiecient in 10-12psi range than 60-1. 60-1 is alot bigger wheel than 60 trim T3. I think 60-1 is good around 16-18psi. Gapping the plugs were to take the chappiness out of the power band. It didn't work. May be time for me to replace my rotor button and things.
  17. This is a nice comparison between the stock turbo and stage III. the stock was in full boost at 3000rpm where as stage III went full boost at 3500rpm. O, the weather was 30 degrees hotter today then before.
  18. here is the chart. My next plan for now is to use my new HKS S-AFR to lean out the spot where is too rich. and run little bit more timing.
  19. I went to re-dyno my car today. lat time I dynoed 209.3WHP@5400rpm and 217.6@4200rpm. I was way 14.5:1 lean on the topend before. That was with stock T3 and 3inch DP and IC @10psi. This time, with a turbo upgrade, (60-1/stage III) and Z31 ECU swap, @12psi, I dynoed 224WHP@5200rpm 238ft/lb@3500rpm. What was really cool was that I was 10.8:1 A/F ratio at 6200rpm so I got alittle bit more room to grow. The car seems to need more timing as the power is real choppy on the gragh. Anyway, not too shabby with stock injectors. Well, just reporting the result.
  20. I'll be all over that. Let me know if you make one. I'll buy one from you.
  21. I talked to a guy who has a similar setup inhis Miata. He didn't like it because coilpack keeps burning up on his car. He was using RX-7's I think
  22. Nice, I got the alumium coated fiber blankets on all my heatshields. I do have a question, I thought most of the heat that gets to the intake transfers from the head?
  23. It's also probably got something to do with turbine wheel blocking the way to let the exhaust air exist fast like N/A car. I personally got 11lb flywheel which I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep the rpm to upshift smoothly.
