  1. Have you try to take the valve cover and turn the motor over? If it is a sapn rod bearing,then the noise should go away when you pull a spark plug wire off. (whichever its knocking) Or you can avvance the timing and if the noise gets quieter. Other thing on the Nissan motor is non floating wrist pins. I hear they can get worn out or get gummy which makes tapping noise.

  5. I have to say that Supra was getting some serious boost for a T78 with manual trans. When he shifted into 2nd, the WB was wide open. ran low 11's with 13xmph trap on drag radials I think
  6. T series are in T04S housing I think. I would like to see someone run a .70A/R T04B or .60A/R T04E/60-1 combo (I think that's similar to T04S or may be even same) with Stage V turbine wheel in a stock .68 A/R housing. hint, hint

  8. If you are going to swap the tank, you'll need the 75-76 tank. 77-78 are different shape and also bigger. If you are going to used the 240 tank, you need the larger return line I was told.
  9. I got one U-bend 3 inch mandrel. I cut it in half and turned it and welded back together. I see if I can post my crappy pic.
  10. My DP is aluminized steel. I sprayed the high temp (1200 or 1500 I can't remember) stuff and it's staying on okay.
  11. 235/60/15 BFG on 15 inch turbo rims worked fine on my car. My car is even lowered 1 1/2 - 2 inches.

  13. Yeah, too much oil pressure into the turbo isn't good. I don't have any picture of my set up but Jeffp got some info on oil feed line on his website. I T off my pressure sender. So I know that I'm getting oil pressure into the turbo.
  14. I think mine is 1/4 inch NPT. I do have a 2mm restrictor in it as Jeffp suggested to me.
  15. 30/70 with green stuff. And two water wetter added for summer time.
  16. I thnk I got your problem solved now. BR and R wire comes from the fusible link but those doesn't go straight to ECU. BR goes to main relay (EFI relay) then B/W goes to MAF terminal E and R(from the main relay goes to ECU pin 6. Then R wire from the fusible link goes to safety relay. After that, goes to the body ground. I don't know if I ever used those. If you want I can send to the detailed diagram.
  17. I'm about 7.8:1 to 8:1 compression. I have been running 2mm HKS. I think the compression test was 140-145psi. I'm intercooled though.
  18. I thoguht the trans will bolt up, may be with S30 trans case with Z31 trans inside.

  20. I chose ACT over SPEC. Same price, about same rating. 6 pucks are little over 500ft/lb. I got street disk with HD pressure plate rated at 400ft/lb. (6 puck isn't my taste for a street car) It's heavy but it holds. SPEC is a local shop for me. I've seen both failure and success. If the clutch disk is made at Performance friction Material, It'll be a nice unit.
  21. Factory oil inlet is bamjo fitting. (I think it's metric too) I took it off and tapped it pipe tread.
  22. Same here. I've had no problem with it.
  23. I use NGK 7's gapped at .040" It's little too wide but with MSD, I'm not getting misfire.
