  1. oops. Well, it's got to be L24 or diesel crank I guess.
  2. I got a Greddy Type-S, it's easy to plumb back. When I had it atomospheric, the Greddy sounded like F&F. But it's nice and quiet whith it plumbed back in.
  3. Aircraft remover or gasket remover does a great job. apply and xcrub after couple hours. Make sure you do it outside and not to get the chemical on your skin.
  4. Only problem that I'm getting with tighen down the AFM is that I'm getting 0volt reading from my )2 sensor@idle with all the accessaries on.
  5. I would think it'll a 14 sec car.
  6. Yeah, the 240sx diff's are the pumpkin right? How about if I used the S30's pinion and rings adapted to S14/S15's LSD unit?
  7. I was looking at the R200 LSD unit from S14/S15 silivia on ebay I was wandering if the ring and LSD unit can be fitted with a S30's pinion gear and R200 housing? Is there a different pitch on the pinion gear? I'm think if it works, I can get the 11 teeth pinion and 4.11 ring to get 3.70.
  8. Ok, how do you increase the exhaust velosity with more duration? I think it'll increase the volume and actually slows down the velocity. Would you not get more velocity from squeezing alot of air our in short period of time(more intake, less exhaust) than same amount of air going out in longer preiod of time? I know on N/A more split pattern usually have less intake because the air intake relies on the scavenge and the air velosity is higher with smaller intake duration(more vaccum and better response). But under boost, you don't need scavenge since the air is forced in. So the intake can stay open longer to have more air to compress. That's my understanding of it The downside is bad idle and poor respond off boost.
  9. I took apart my spare P90 today and founs a actual matching set of rockers. They all have casting #3 and three dots on the side. But I doubt that there are acutually any difference with N/A. BTW, http://www.deltacam.com/
  10. So did you replace the filter? This was quite old thread wasn't it?
  11. Hey Denny. I would also check the fluid pressure. I worked on a Turbo 400 that self-destructed the sprag and caused one of the bands to ride all the time even between shifts (it was burking 2nd gear everytime which was cool)Then alot of shaving clog the filter. As result, the pressure fell to like 0 psi and the cold engagement was almost impossible. Just a thought 8)
  12. Turbo doesn't like choppy exhaust. Smaller duration, less choppy exhaust.
  13. They are about same. I've seeb both Nissan and Ford housing on L28 with no problem. the housing needs to be machined for Stage III turbine.
  14. .040" is about 1 point on compression. The is an L6 engine caculator somewhere on the web.
  15. I got my engine reassembled today. While I had the motor a part, I tighten the tension inside of AFM because the A/F was going down to 10:1 @ WOT. (that was on 4th gear pull on a dyno with W/B) Now, when I get out of throttle, the A/F (narrowband inside of car) voltage goes down to 0 volt:shock: (well, the voltage flickers, 0-.7v backand worth)and stalls. I was trying to see if there are cures out there without having to loosen the AFM. The A/F is fine WOT now, (11.5 on narrowband, with 1370deg F EGT) Any idea? Thanks
  16. They are domed top like stock one. 0.140" dome. So I guess it's 8/5:1 compression. I'll get rid of for half of retail. I think $120 per piston so $60 per piston. The whole set will be $360 plus shipping. It comes with wristpins, and tru-locks( I think that's what they are called) Only think missing is 2 set of rings but all you need is SR20DE rings. Federal Mogul P/N E-633KC. It is forged. Michael, email me if that price is good. Thanks
  17. I do. It was custom cut for RB26DETT .5mm over. I was going to use it for L28 but I'm getting lazy to do all the custom work that I would have to do to make it work for L28. If anyone interested, I'll give you a great deal. Thanks
  18. you can get a turbo cam from a P90A which had 4 deg advance cut from the factory. If you want little more hump on low end. And Iwould think with stock T3, the topend isn't that important. Mine seens get real good to 5500rpm and after that, not so hot.
  19. you know why the boost drops in high? because the EGT gets up there. I would becareful. BTW, I bet that thing screams with more boost. I had an opputinity to ride in Legacy with 260HP (VVT too) while I was in Japan. Now that thing did not feel like a station wagon for sure
  20. WRX are 14 psi stock right? So you are just going to raise one psi? Anyway I searched with google. Here are the results http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=boost+controller+installation+blitz Good luck
  21. be careful with Subee http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=9739&perpage=15&pagenumber=1
  22. No, I've senn P79 shaved .080" with big .480" lift cam on flat top engine and no problem. You can run the play-do test if you want to make sure.
