  1. I don't see a big deal about asking same questions, it's not like there are alot of other things going on here. At least, there are something to do. But I do wish ppl will seach before asking questions.
  2. If you want to go all the way, there is a stroker kit for RB26 which puts the displacement 2.9L
  3. With a caliper I'm just kidding. I know it's all in millimeter. BTW, your pistons and rods will go out tomorrow, I boxed it and took it today but USPS was closed for the President's day I'll email you tomorrow.
  4. Should be 10 blade Stage V but one that I've seen was T04E with 60 trim wheel. Or 10 blade Stage III, either way should be 10 blade. (I gave myself a little room to breath there )
  5. I thought the 60-1 is T series wheel? But no I think I know which turbine wheel JWT400 has but I can't be sure. So I'm not going to blur out. But I was looking at about that size turbo when I need to upgrade. How do you like your set up? your turbo and TEC3.
  6. Hmmm. I don't think the oil pressure got to do with lubecating the cylinder walls. I would think that's done by the windage. Broken top rings or middle rings?
  7. This is what I've been told. Go with T04E not B. You'll have more potential HP that way. 57 trim is nice but you can go with 60 trim or 60-1. And 10 blade StageIII, not a turbonetic unit but Garrett unit. It's little different. Unless turbonetic came up with newer design. God, I need money
  8. Ok, then they should have put the check valve back in. What's wrong with your motor now? damaged rod bearing?
  9. I think the check valve out is a good thing when you are running the oil cooler.
  10. I thought the hood pics were photoshops Nice, You can always tow it next week just to show us how it's done
  11. http://www.turboneticsinc.com/comp_maps/fig9.html I was told, if Iwas to going to go with 60 trim E, then just go with 60-1 more expansion room. Your car should have enough tunablility to handle 60-1. And look into Stage V or Garrett GT style 10 blade Stage III. I was told GT style wheel is 10-20% less backpressure.
  12. L24 E88 had Bronze or brass seats. (It was yellow soft metal) I guess not a real problem with stock springs. I was running around 200# @ seat valve springs.
  13. Yes, for a carb setup. I would spend the money to upgrade the valve seats to harden seats and change the valves from N42 or N47
  14. Go with 60-1 You would want T04E housing, they are 5% more efficient. I don't know about T4 turbine housing but P-trim suppose to be a nice size. I like the Stage V T3 turbine.
  15. I would think it's a T04B if it's for a rotary. The rotary can use a bigger turbo ecause it's got 3 pulses per rev. P-trim suppose to work well with well equiped L28.
  16. I doubt you can get 300HP without an IC. But I guess it can depends on the turbo too. I don't know why would have TEC II and no IC??
  17. My brother got the eclipse Screen (main unit?)for his car, his looking for a matching CD player and so on.
  18. Aftermarket BOV doesn't and should not vent under boost. At least mine doesn't. May be around 30psi. DSM BOV hold to like 16-18psi. POV does vent, stock one suppose to vent like 8psi. ppl shim it to get it to 12-14psi. BTW, here is my BOV. Blue silicon hose goes to TB.
  19. You guys got it confused I think. BOV is to release the boost pressure between shifting or on and off the gas pedal. POV is to release pressure when boost becomes too high.
  20. I saw the episode with Duramax Dyno test. That was sweet.
  21. NO RRFPR for me yet. I probably go with extra injectors with a controller box for more tunablility. 208RWHP (245HP@ flywheel) is alot of power gain from stock 180HP I guess so that could be why I'm lean.
