  1. I'm running 1/8in (I think that's -4 AN???)SS braided hose with 2.1mm restrictor before the turbo. It's like Jeffp's setup. Works great.
  2. I've posted about the demention and fitment on this forum last week. So go there.
  3. Well, All I know if the air velosity gets faster than the speed of sound, the heat rises dramatically. If I was more serious about school, I would know this. HAHA
  4. physically T04B will fit better but T04E is more effiecient turbo. Seach the archive, there should be somehitng good here
  5. I think I did. I guess what I mean was .50 A/R T04E compressor housing with 50 trim wheel and .60 A/R T04E compressior housing with 50 trim.
  6. what would be the flow difference between 50 and 60 trim T04E housingWith same wheel? I guess at the same boost level too. I'm thinking 50 trim compressor housing with .50 trim wheel. I wante to see if there is a benefit from running 60 trim housing with the same wheel.
  7. I hate to be limited by the 50 AR housing HP wise but I know you are right LJ, I seen it, it's tight even with a spacer. I was just hoping to get a biggest turbo cramped in.
  8. My L26 held 20+psi for a about 300ft until I got out of it I've been running 12-14psi on stock turbo with 2mm HS abd ARP head studs and no more blown head gasket.
  9. I'm not big fan of additional injector either. Unless I can get 6 extra injector on the manifold be cause I don't think the #5 and #6 will get as much fuel as the rest. My car suffers heat on #5 and may be #6. So I don't know how well it helps. 10psi on 78 ECU with turbo injector seems fine until 5500rpm.
  10. you are the man on breaking the crakshaft I guess ghirled (spell?)wouldn't help the #7 main cap. Well, may be you can get the next crank nitrided
  11. Justice served. I'm glad you and your toys are OK
  12. Yeah, .48 AR housing. It'll give you too muck back pressure between the manifold and the turbo though.
  13. Compression is too high to just turbo SR20DE. But now, Nimso offers turbo pistons
  14. http://www.lr-racing.com I think they are in CA
  15. I'm in the same boat. I don't want to have to redo my DP. I do have about 1 inch on each side of DP against the engine and the fire wall so I might be ok with 1/2 inch spacer or so. Well, I'll update.
  16. Thanks. I'm thinking I'll go with 60 trim compressor housing with 60E wheel(if it fits) and Stage III Garrett GT 10 blade. Just need to comeup with some money. I hope I don't need a spacer. I guess I'll see.
  17. RX-7 had a small diff. I'm not too sure it'll take the torque of V8. I got a buddy with 3G RX-7 that traps 125 on twin 13B and he said the diff can't handle that kind of power.
  18. I'm thinking if I run 14psi, I should be good on the street. I would go 60-1 but I don't need anything that big on the street car I don't think. 60E sounds good but 50E sounds just as good to me. I've seen H and I probably be happy with it too. So many choices.... I got a big enough IC and DP. I just need to be aable to run the turbo with stock EFI with RRFPR and Safeguard. Thanks
  19. OK, my turbo is going south after couple overboosting the crap out of my stock turbo. So it's time for me to decide on a turbo. I would like to upgrade since the T3 rebuild isn't much cheaper than Hydrid T3/T4. I guess the cost isn't too much concern as long as I'm getting something that's going last and allow me to get more HP later on. I'm pretty sure that I'll be using stock Nissan turbine housing with Stage III Garrett GT 10 blade so I won't have to alter my DP. I'm not too sure about the compressor side. I could go all the way and get a T04E with 50 trim or 57 trim but then I would have to use spacer. Or I could go with T04B with S, V or H. I was told the Super H is good but might be too big for my 2.65L. So what do you guys think? Alex, I would like your price quote too. I don't know your new number
  20. check valve for the heater I think. Mine doesn't work so my heat goes away under boost
  21. I got mine right before my TB. I guess it's got more to do with throtttle response because all the IC and plumbing can stay somewhat pressurize without any air slowing down the compressor. But who knows
  22. I do have a spare P30 crank. I'll give you for next to nothing as long as you can pay for the shipping. Or I can sell you one that has been clean and prepped for $100 plus shipping
