  1. Another mistake. It's like blocking the slot for quarters on a gumball machine.
  2. Yeah, I see felony written all over that.
  3. It's funny, that book is endorsed by the "EAA", which is based in the city I live in. What a small world. LOL Anyway, I bought it online, lol, I could of gone to the EAA museum and bought it. Hopefully it will give me some good tricks for working with tubing. I've actually met one of the authors. He has some cool planes.
  4. Well, I mean the fire truck itself is big.. lol
  5. You can do wet lay up with carbon fiber. And then you can add vacuum with a vacuum pump, and pull any excess resin or air bubbles out. Another easy way is vacuum infusion, where the vacuum draws the resin into the lay up. This helps with difficult layups, as you can pull vacuum before starting resin flow.
  6. Also, if you're worried about the burnouts at the strip, you could install a line lock.
  7. I have a fire truck horn that I will be mounting in the 240z. It's a really big fire truck horn..
  8. Whats up with the sound byte at the end. I want to see what you were talkin about..
  9. Sikaflex. Also, they make some stuff that's more flexible, I don't know which product number.
  10. Perhaps the backlash on the rear pinion and ring gear are not correct.
  11. Very cool. I want to get an AC TIG machine. I used one at a local airshow where Miller had a huge display set-up and I'm hooked on aluminum.
  12. Yes, the 750CCA optima battery starts the car every time right away.
  13. I just bought a wilwood proportioning valve. For how cheap they are, and ease of installation.. why not? Then you can dial it in perfectly. The Wilwood prop valve says you can drop 50% of pressure.. it will help with brake presses I'm sure.
  14. Got some more parts in the mail today.. Also, decided to go for a drive.. in the 5 degree weather.
  15. Geez, 70$ each.. I already have coil overs, but it would be almost as cheap to buy another set from them at 400$ which comes with the springs.
  16. How much do a set of springs cost from ground control anyway?
  17. Mom wants her car back.
  18. Can I make a recommendation. If you've read another post by a member giving away a R200 diff for FREE, because he cleaned it out with WD40 and sometime later opened it up and noticed that there was a ton of RUST inside it. Kind of like a foamy rust. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=143524 If I were you, in the interest of saving that machine, I would suggest not to use WD40, and use a better cleaning agent, or make sure you oil everything down afterwords. I know WD 40 stands for Water Displacement 40th formula, and it should keep water and rust away, but oil will protect better.
  19. I have 6, I find myself looking for more at times.
  20. I was speaking of the s-series swap. Usually those guys are big on V8's. I should have kept my Sonoma, plans were for an LS1. Oh well.
  21. I bet that's the 1st swap to ever swap a smaller displacement motor? Has this been done?
  22. Yeah, I raised my floors so that they are flush with the bottom of the rockers. I want it LOW.. and maybe a full under tray.
