This is correct. The runners of a stock intake are the choke point, so adding the large TB does nothing for flow into the engine and adds no power. What it dose do however, is improve throttle response, Your at 100% throttle with less petal push than the stocker.

You can tell just by looking at it. A 4 speed will have a 6 bolt plate on top in front of the shifter, a 5 speed with just be a smooth ridge. -
cars with such brilliant design flaws such as the one the requires you to remove the intake manifold...... ......to change your spark plugs. who ever thinks that kinda stuff is a great idea on the drawing board, should be kicked in the balls
