  1. wellll, just happened to come across one, its in good shape just needs the fuel hooked up/clutch/slave bled (just some small stuff), ill sell it without fixing it for 2k, or i can fix it and itll be 2500 its got the T5 and a clean brown/tan interior (including crack free dash and nice door panels with the 280zx in them) but needs some minor work listed above. But it is stock with no mods rolling on the stock wheels and everything. If youre interested email me at datsundriver88@hotmail.com and i can get you some pics.
  2. ive got some as well crack free dashes both brown and black. I am here in texas and can meet you 1/2 way if need be
  3. i have a carbon 240 type 1 style if you are interested...pm me for more info
  4. find a decent exhaust shop, should only run you 200-300 at most unless you go stainless and then itll be round 400
  5. Hey man i just bought a 12/78 zx =) couldnt pass it up when i saw its all black interior, roll up windows, crack free dash, and ohhhhhhh sooo sexxxxy low vin # hls130123404 (thinking this is number 4 but not wanting to get hopes up lol)
  6. im running 15s on my zx....its on hp shocks and lowering spring (probably taking a coil off each spring all the way around for an extra little bit lower (.5-1") BUT i am running some 225-50-15s up front and some 245 or 255-60-15s out back...that should keep you close to what you need. Pirellis up front and theres a big list of makers for the rear (cooper cobra's, goodyear gt2s,bfg ta's, bfg ta Radials) the list goes on but most can be had for under $100 for the rears new and the radials are only 151 a piece (i just bought 2 extra rims for the track/radials). All on 15x8s...ill get pics in a week or two after shes back up and running with the wheels/tires/3.9 welded dif/ etc.
  7. I can cut it out of my donor...look in the for sale at the ''sawzall treatment'' thread. i can cut it and ship it but depending on how big of a chunk shipping might get high
  8. No sportmaxx are that big, youre only route is the rota group buy on this site. for 17x9 and 17x9.5 and if you go with what has been proven you can keep it stock body no mods and fit plenty of rubber.
  9. You need to double your price range for a nice car, just fyi. or try the guys over at classiczcar
  10. Haha the car still looks good, looks like Clive should be your new best bud his came out great. Id go that route, or bigger/widebody like others suggested unless you just want them and like i told you i got em if you need em. I drove that car like i stole it when i had it and loved every minute but i definately bought it that way and it worked for what i wanted....a cheap track toy/street heartbreaker. But good luck and keep me posted man.
  11. Seems VERY high to me. Then again it depends on what he normally paints, what materials he uses, how many coats, and the paint will be perfect and if there are any complaints or one tiny spec, he'll repaint the whole car again and make it perfect. Also not knocking the guy...but it seems like that 8k is verryyyyyy cummmfffyyy for him for him to put this on paper. "he also said that if he finds any body work where needs to fabricate anything (surprises) it won't cost extra. The kob is to take about three-four months" Andi can just say most paint/body on any cars ive seen for damn good jobs for 2500-4k (not perfect "only going to be a show car") but any street driven car shouldnt need 8k worth of work (just saying). If you got the cash to blow i would buy another car already done. Only paint ive seen for that much is close to 10 total layers....and looks like you could fall 10 feet into the paint its painted so perfectly and soooo much clear. But this ofcourse is all on old rods/trucks that sit in a warehouse and only taken to shows in covered trailers. **edit there was a truck that competed in the standing mile here in texas that got totally trashed that has a 30k paintjob (owner said) but the truck was worth 150k and had a fully built race motor**
  12. Here is a pic of "my" manifold.....notice the sneaky sneakiness i did and ill explain it more after i hear what ya'll think....
  13. You can turbo the motor you have...Search for it
  14. http://arizonazcar.com/ http://arizonazcar.com/coil.html UGHHHHH i just realized the ROOKIE NEWB got me to comment on a thread he revived from 2 years ago....UGHHH
  15. No, its not a steal because they sell every day for that price in 15x6 or 15x7, the baby sizes as i like to call them. They are SSR xr-4 Starsharks the big boy sizes are the expensive ones like the type 9j in 15x9 -20 and 9.5 -25 for about 1500-1700 a PAIR or 15x10 -40 for 1200 a PAIR. Remember folks thats only 2 wheels so youre looking at 2500-3500 for a full set of 4 all one size or staggered. What is a steal is when a full set goes for 1500 or less, which is very unlikely and you are very lucky if you can find them for that. Ive looked for a few years and only one set i know of meet that criteria, and they werent MINT (Like i want). Your best bet is the RBR group buy....although im looking at other options =)
  16. WELLLLLL just got another one....cant say how much i love these cars! Hopefully i can fix the damage on the underside (rear dif/bar is ripped from unibody) but if not it will be one hell of a parts car. Get ready for the vin plate/number Made 12/78 vin# HLS130123404 Picked it up yeasterday and will snap pics tomorrow. Its a 2 door coupe light blue with a PERFECT black interior so if i cant fix the rust/underneath the car then it will sadly (read VERY sadly) become a parts car.
  17. Ive got 2 z shells both in amazing shape...email me at datsundriver88@hotmail.com or call 972 838 7937 ...im in dallas ones a 77 the other a 75 both just need motor/trans install and some love but bodies are in perfect shape (best ive seen that have original/old paint) just scuff and shoot -Jeff
  18. I'll take that manifold. Where do I sign?

  19. Sounds to me like if you were the one who originally purchased it they would work something out. Maybe i just dont get it but looks to me (like most companies, tokico, koni, etc)that they would do something if you purchased it but once it changes hands they wont do anything. Go buy a used 2009 kia/hyundai etc from an individual and the same thing will happen (non transferrable warranty). Not trying to be an ass just seems like they should do it because it would be more profitable but they might just not make it any more and dont want to go through the headache unless you actually spent the cash on it to begin with.
  20. Also for me ( i have a l28 flat top, cammed, custom intake (for carb to sit on) with the original SU 3-1 manifolds on the car. But i think for me the 4brl is a great option for someone wanting to run a good amount of power out of these cars without stroking or turbo. Ie it only cost me $250 to put together a 125 wet plate setup on the car, and that bumps any decent 150-175hp that the car would run on just the motor/carb set up to damn near if not over the 300 mark. Obviously this is only used in straight lines and you dont have all that power all over the place and all the time BUT if your looking for 1/4 times it is definately a nicer, cheaper, safer, easier option to do with a 4brl plate than to do a dry shot or a direct port on an efi system. But let it be known, that always and forever my heart will be a fan of tripples on an L series.
  21. Hey, sorry, but i'm not gonna have any extra spending money for a little while now, spent it all on the cars and going up to the olympics. So if u sell the heater core, or throw it away or whatever, no hard feelings. If u still have it though when i get some cash im definitely down for buying it.

  22. I have one that is n/a and freshly redone, email me at datsundriver88@hotmail.com and i can get you pics, i also have a 5speed still attatched if youre interested in it going all together. Also i have sold a few cars overseas and have great feedback from them if you would like their information to contact and they can tell you as well.
