  1. Last question. How should I pop out the axles from the R200? Are they easy by pulling or do I need a pry on both sides to pop out? CZ
  2. Thanks Terry. Also, when I do my CV conversion flange install, should I keep the car on the ground and remove the nut on the flange? How hard is it to get the flange off after the nut comes off? I just want to know the procedure for swapping out the old flange with the new CV adapter flange.....thanks in advance. Terry
  3. Grumpy!!!! Thanks brother. It wouldnt be running without you for sure....I am in San Angelo Texas! My job will probably eventually take me out to Florida as well. I will definately want to stop by and visit! Thanks for your thoughts! Terry
  4. Well I m going to fly to DFW tomorrow Wednesday! There is a U-Haul close to the airport so I am supposed to call this guy there and they will pick me up and take me to the U-Haul place. I pick up the truck and trailer and go to Denton exit 457B to get my car. Then I am going back I35S and stopping off at Mikes (MAICHOR on the Hybrid Board) to pick up some parts hes selling, then on to San Angelo! Heres Mikes E-Mail. If you want to get directions to his house I should be there around 12 noon or so! miadair@parkercc.edu Is anyone close to the airport that would be off on Wednesday? If so you could follow me or show me where to go to get Zette. That would be fun. At anyrate thats my plan and Im stickin to it! We got to get Texas together sometime! CZ 8)
  5. Seriously, your right. I love those rear flares....I cant wait ti see Darius's new Z when finished. he had something similiar going on. That looks bad ass for sure...good job. The cool thing about being a member of this site is that no matter who has what etc, we are all being represented. With that said I guess we all have about 6000 cars that we own...

Try here... http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/Products/ES/ESHHSCH/EngSwap.html They even have full Length for the datsun conversions...scroll down to chevy and youll see them. Also part# 2001 block huggers are sweet. CZ
  7. I had packs on the Zette before going to Japan and I actually pissed myself off from it being too loud. I went with DynoMax after that....I know it get pretty loud......
  8. Too funny.....common sense tells you that theres not much COLD air under the hood. However I feel that there may be a little better throttle response with the right setup....i.e. mine!
  9. Not at all just make sure you strap that baby down tight if you insist on putting it inside. I have a 10 gallon aluminum on my Z but mounted it under the car where the spare tire donut used to be. I have many pics of this that I need to post on my site. I will post soon. For me the plastic cell didnt work for me as it melted and warped badly with the undercar heat. I suppose in the car would work better for this problem anyhow. The thing is if you rolled your car you wouldnt want gas pouring all over you...just a thought.
  10. Let me see. I used to have the triple setup with Solex Mikunis 44s. The original fuel system on my 260 was a return type system so I just plugged into that. I also have ran dead head but it sucks if you use too much pressure. Gas will pour out of your carbs onto your headers and WILL cause a fire (I know). Change the fitting on the last carb to flow thru and run a line back to the tank that should already be there! Just my 2 cents... I think I ran like 5.5 or 6 PSI on those. You can test them by starting at 5 and watching the bells to make sure no gas comes out and also by bogging/starving upon acceleration etc. If it cuts out youll know your starving for fuel...adjust accordingly in .5 degree settings...
  11. Good Luck Aux...cant wait to see it!!!! Another Hybrid will be born...when is it due?
  12. Wha??? hey I have a black Z too! lol...

OOHH FRIGGIN RAHHH!!!!! Semper Fi...I am finally retired and it feels good and feels bad. I really miss it and the structure. It also says I am growing older and that my days are numbered. Life is grand and sad at the same time. Like the Matrix says "The purpose of life is to die". All beginnings have an end......Im just glad I had the opportunity to be a part of such a great team and own a Z of coarse! Thank goodness for Hybridz....Im in debt to you all for your hospitality and support....Happy Birthday Marines.....never quit and always do your very best at everything you do......Semper Fi!!!!! 19. OK, Im buying the Aston and then cutting the front light assy and molding in my 240 Z buckets and putting the covers on. That would be sweet.... By the way, the Zette arrived from Japan today so I am so going to Dallas to pick her up Wednesday..... I am stoked.....I get to turn wrenches again.....anyone know the torque values for the rear flange nut? CZ
  20. Roger that! Well I just bought a booster and MC from JT from a 280ZX. If the bolt pattern is different I will redrill the firewall to fit. I do need the extra vacuum cuz I have the front and rear disk upgrades. This may be dumb, but how do you bench bleed the MC? I always just pump up the pedal then open the nipples and close and repeat. Is that it? CZ
