  2. Heck yeah man! come over any time.. Garrett76280Z will be here the first weekend of Dec.. maybe we could get a meet going. I can do one better then a pic of the timeslip.. click the youtube link in my sig..
  3. Ran the Z at DNI. My first pass was my fastest. I ran a 11.80@120mph with a 1.8 60ft on 225 50R15 BFG drag radials. They were really fighting to get traction in first gear.. so Im pretty sure I might be able to widdle it down to maybe a 11.6 but STILL!! Im really pleased with how she did. Nothing like driving 5.5 hours, getting 27mpg, hanging out with a bunch of Z friends and busting into the 11s!! good times.. I hope to get a video made soon.
  4. Austin, there is no doubt it will run 12s!.. And sorry again for the tranny. What ever you do I know it will be great!
  5. PM ScottieGNZ and Speeder AKA Rick.. both are in that area.
  6. LOL i know Ryan The wheels are TSW Trophy's
  7. you hook me up with something better then windows movie maker and we can see about that.. Ryan, I edited it and should be better for you.. Turned down the volume on the music and turned up the volume on the cars..
  8. Here is a short vid I did of JTaylor RB 280Z and Sam in the 2JZ S14 from IFO. I hope to do a longer vid with everyone's runs in it soon.
  9. Jon, I should be done with a vid of your car tomorrow and it will have the 9.69 pass on it.
  10. Man sorry to see that happen! it was a very clean S130. It looks like the wheels should be able to be fixed. A wheel shop should be able to heat them and get the bends out. Good luck with everything and glad to see your Pop is ok.
  11. I am running mark 3 turbo supra injectors that are 440s. They are low impedance and I think the required fuel is 7.2. Should I run resisters on my setup? everything seems to be working right now though. I will post my settings when Im home this afternoon and can look at the settings.
  12. Yeah, Im wondering if the -4 is just too large of a line.
  13. Turbo or N/A oil pump: Turbo Oil weight used: 15W 40 Synthetic or Natural: Synthetic Oil Pressure at Idle when cold: 45 Oil Pressure at Idle when hot: 30 Highest oil pressure seen when cold (max RPM): 3000rpm 75psi Highest oil pressure seen when hot (max RPM):6500rpm 75-80psi -4 oil feed line Im trying to decide on if I should run a restrictor in my Garrett T3/T4 turbo myself.
  14. Here is a budy of mine that rids Trials for Beta. Ray Peters.
  15. I saw that first vid a while back..Danny Macaskill is amaizing. I showed a buddy of mine this vid that rides Trial moto and he said that vid was really inspiring. How about these girls... heh.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b36Yi-Pb1wM
  16. **UPDATE ON MY SETUP** I got rid of the 60 trim turbo as it was laggy and really not well suited for my needs with the L28. With the 60 trim I was able make 328 wheel HP and 360ft lbs of Tq at 20psi of boost. Turbo is now a 50 trim t3/t04E with a stage 3 .63ar exhaust side. Downpipe is a full 3" turbo back exhaust. I am running a Tial 38mm external wastegate. Right now even with my rich tune Im running 20 psi and get full boost by high 2800s low 3000 rpms. Boost comes on quick and feels very nice. I am also running the NA-"A" cam and pulls nicely all the way to 6500rpms. I hope to get it to the dyno friday and fine tune her.
  17. Well, so far I gotta say this turbo is freaking awesome!.. I have full boost at around 3K and after shifting it is immediately back to full boost. I'm still running pretty rich but right now Im sitting at 20 psi.. Feels awesome and kinda scary! lol
  18. I went out for a few minutes in the Z today.. bringing in some boost. I still have to find my usb-serial cable so I can start tuning.. you can see in this vid how nice the turbo spools.
  19. Austin 100% keep it. You know the car inside and out.. I bet at this point the car with the right tires would be close enough handling wise to a lotus you will be happy with it.. For one.. its payed for.. and if you want to change anything.. you know the car and how to go about changing it. Congrats on the house by the way man! And of course the new career! I say in some time, fly out to Cali get that dream Z and drive it home to be garage mates with the Blue Z! I would just enjoy the blue as with some spirited autoX and maybe a track day here and there. What ever you decide, it will be the right choice.
  20. Yeah its cool Dale, Sorry I missed your call last night. Now for the Sway bar! I did some research and did find some people.. use a stock sway bar and simply use a shorter through bolt and get rid of the spacer on the end links. I think Im going to try that route. So far driving with out a sway bar isnt bad at all. But I wonder how it will be on the autoX.
  21. Its a TIAL knock off but I put a Real Tial spring in it.. I think I have about 60 bucks total in it. I took it apart along side my friends Tial 50mm and they are really identical. I was kinda shocked heh.. It has a really nice sound and does the job well.
  22. as I said, just a couple of miles later of the BOV moving and doing its thing it was working as normal. No more surge, just a whaaatshhhh.. I plan on doing another valve adjustment soon and then starting to bring in some boost..thanks guys! It does feel good to be driving her again!!
