  1. Yeah I used to run the stock T3 turbo at around 15-17psi. Although it killed the turbo and really doesnt do anything but move a bunch of hot air passed 15psi. (this was with MS&S, Front mount IC and 440CC injectors). It sounds like you either have something hooked up wrong on the boost controller or maybe your gain is up too high. I would double check the installation as well as go over all the settings. Do not run anything over 12psi on your stock ECU/injectors and fuel pump. Do you have a wideband on that gauge as well? If not.. I really suggest getting one so you know what your looking at there as far as A/F..
  2. Here is a vid I put together of a good friends S2000 with a fully build/sleeved motor and GT40R. Unfotunatly he decided he is going to sell the car.. I told him he will regret it and cry himself to sleep every night lol.. I know I will be sad as I have many hours working on it too..
  3. So far so good on the WG setup. The coatings do show some wear on the hottest points of where it was applied. As far as the welds and everything.. They are holding up great! I think I have around 3k or so miles on this setup and it all seems to be doing well accept the turbo which I had to send back.
  4. Here is my setup. After having a good deal amount of seat time with this wastegate setup, it holds pressure nice and boost responce is great.
  5. Also check your grounds.. Check the AFM connection make sure everything is plugged in solid and clean connections..

  8. I just got finished installing key less entry in the Z. It is NICE! The main reason for doing this is my factory keyed locks were starting to fail and I got the whole key less entry kit for about what it would cost to replace the cylinders. So far its nice.. The install wasn't bad but I did have help from my friend Kris who does this sort of thing for a living. The kit is from auto page and the solenoids work great and locks/unlocks every time. The power windows are on my to do list for sure!!

  15. Great build up! Great looking car! When you installed the 350Z seats did you have the cat converter hump in the way? when I installed the 350Z seats, I had to massage that hump down quite a bit so the drivers seat would fit. Planning on coming to DNI? Would be nice to see that thing in person!

  18. Chris, sucks about the tranny and the turbo man. Im glad it didnt cause you to wreck into anything. I cannot wait to get my Z on a road course. I will be autoXing her for the first time with this turbo on sunday. Im now running a 240sx tranny and Hope she holds the power. I hope all goes well for you on what ever tranny you go with.. Love the car dude and I hope to meet up with you and Phil next time Im in the area. Gabe
