  1. I upgraded to a larger turbo, Tial external 38mm wastegate, and built a stainless steel 3" mandrel bent downpipe. I coated everything in techline ceramic 2000 deg coating
  2. wow it has really been quite some time since I have posted progress on my Z.. I will start out with my intercooler piping. I redesigned it using aluminum piping. I did notice my intake temps went down a good bit running the IC piping this way.
  3. Im new at welding as well. So I got a friend to help me with that part. He has several years under his belt. What we did was take a torch and heat the manifold up around the section being welded. We heated it til it was just starting to glow.. then welded the first pipe in. So far so good.. It's holding great! Good luck with it and if you have someone to either look over you welding it or show the right way, I think that would be the ticket.
  4. Just wanted to bump this thread up. Thoes that have gotten there RB and RBR's post up!
  5. Aux, what I cant figure out is where you got the outfit? LOL seriously what in the world LOL....
  6. Mine is around 6 inches a way and it seems to work great. Im not sure about 10". you might see a slight boost spike..Anyone else have there setup that far away? here is the thred to how I have mine setup. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=144286
  7. really cool vid.. oh what I would do to get a ride in a blue angel.. heck for that matter to drive the new ZR1 would be amazing as well!! http://www.motortrend.com/av/features/112_0908_chevy_corvette_zr1_vs_jet_fighter_video/index.html
  8. Hey Jeff, What boost level were you running with this setup? Thanks
  9. Oh your right.. lol I didnt even think about that... Oh well.. it was really late last night when I found it and I must have been half asleep
  10. I was looking around on ebay and noticed this manifold. Its so you can turbo charge your inline 6 nissan patrol.. Says its for the 12 valve inline 6 patrol engine.. You guys think just maybe its the same pattern as the L28?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Turbonetics-T3-Turbo-Manifold-Nissan-Patrol-inline-6cyl_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a3Q7c66Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem4147284d81QQitemZ280366697857QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  11. Sounds like it is a nice little setup. From what I have found a stage 5-P trim exhaust wheel in a .63 exhaust housing is the way to go. It will spool just as well as the stage 3 but flow a good bit more.
  12. Yasin, the S130 is looking NICE man!.. It looks like you are turning her into a great daily driver.. Now you can get back on your other S130!!!!!
  13. hmm that's a new one on me man.. almost like the turbo's are trading off or something. I dont really have any exp with a twin turbo setup so I really don't know. Weren't you going to go with a single setup soon anyways?
  14. hey Joel, are you talking about like air leaking out of the compressor housing?
  15. The sensor you have there looks like a wideband sensor but Im not 100%. Did it come with the haltech? There is no doubt the haltec will control both wideband and narrow band 02's If that is in fact a wideband 02, are you just going to use a laptop to monitor A/F? Looks cool though.
  16. your O2 is most likely a 2 wire narrow band. It is not going to tell you exact AFR's under WOT or cruise. With out a heated, wide band sensor and a way to display it, you will not know what AFRs you are running and risk causing motor failure. I have a AEM wideband. it works great and is really accurate. Some people here use the LM1 and have great success with that.
  17. Steve man What I would do to be able to get on Barbers.. I hope you got some vids or pics.. Sucks about the tranny but I bet it was worth it!! heh.. Glad you had a good time man..
  18. wholy cow.. I had no idea plastic was worth soo much.. lol I guess if people will pay it heh.. now if I could only find some in a junkyard hehehehe..
  19. Post a question titled.. .. REALLY?? heh Look where the item location is.. HUH??? Item location: Beirut, Lebanon, California, United States DUDE IS ALL OVER THE PLACE LOL..
  20. Yes you will be lean for sure. But since you do not have a wideband to monitor A/F you cant see just how lean you are running.
  21. The stock electronics does not read boost at all. it is a very simple system.. It only sees the AFM wide open and just throws as much fuel down as it can.. I would not do ANY more pulls at that boost level unless you want to rebuild your motor. where are you getting your boost signal from going to your gauge? also .. I wouldnt even push 12psi without a wide band.. that should be first on your list...Turn the boost controller off until you get that wideband.. Once you get the wideband.. turn the controller all the way down as far as it will go and work your way up in boost from there.. EDIT.. to add I would start off here on the AEM site on if something is not working right with the controller. It sounds like either something is hooked up wrong or not working right.. http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.php
  22. Hey Stony, Jon Taylor and myself are down here in Mobile AL.. about 2.5 hours south on I65 from you.. If you want to meet up give me a PM. Gabe
