  1. The head and intake mani are just port matched.
  2. wigenout-s30---------77 280Z-------240sx5spd----------Turbo----------11.80@120--------- 11-09 I will scan my time slip tonight.
  3. since I put my Aluminum rad in my Z, my t-stat was higher then the Rad opening. I took a funnel and plug, I drilled a hole in the rubber plug and epoxy the Funnel in it. I stuck the funnel in the Rad opening and just made sure the water level in the funnel was higher then the T-stat. Worked like a charm bleeding the system of all air. Make sure you turn your heater on so you fill your heater core.
  4. Just running a factory nissan FPR at the moment.(need to get a adjustable one) Yeah I do plan on running a meth kit pretty soon, at least before summer rolls around. My goal was to get around 380-400 on a pump gas tune and run in the 11's and have a car I can auto X and road race. I think with my current setup It does really great! Future plans include a meth kit, and just cleaning up and doing body work and enjoying it! I have the 3.70LSD from the 88 Z31 turbo. I would love to swap it out to a 3.54 but thought it couldn't be done so easily? Yeah brad has a good point there for sure and plan on testing it out next time at the track. 1st and 2nd gears are over so quick but will do it for 3rd and 4th! Thanks again everyone for you comments! Rick I couldn't have got where I am with out you buddy! Thank you!.. Scottie, that goes to you too and I hope to make it down to FL again and catch up with yall someday.
  5. sucks about your HG man. I would think with that setup you should be making some really nice power at 18psi-20psi. I hope you get it all worked out.
  6. first pull was at 15psi other 2 were 20psi
  7. Numbers are looking good man! I just went to the dyno as well. Comparing our 2 dyno sheets is really interesting. I have the na "A" cam. If your running the stocker we can really see how that small change helps a little on the top end. whats the specs on your turbo again? here is a link to my dyno thread if you want to compare. cheers http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1102893#post1102893
  8. bump edited the original post with updated dyno sheet and vid.

  10. Im running 35 base fuel pressure. From what I was told is that in most inline 6 motors you should be able to make around the same RWHP as the CC's. Looking at my logs, Im at 90% Duty cycle so I would say Im close.
  11. Thanks Guys! The motor is hokes old motor. JE forged pistons, Stock rods, and crank. Drax the injectors are Supra Mk3 turbo 440cc's
  12. Well it was rainy and crappy all day. but we still managed to make a good day out of it. I can say that the 50 trim t3/t4E just works really well for our motors! I made 385wheel hp and 390Tq@ 20psi. Boost comes on fast and Tq does really well. I can also say that the TQ and HP curve was great with the NA "A" cam. I will post up some vids later on. EDIT now with a scan of my dyno sheet and a vid I made Video link It might take some time to process but it should be up soon. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/77-280Z-turbo-at-the-dyno_725099.htm
  13. WoW! crazy stuff and congrats!! Always love to see vids from the RIPS team! Very impressive.. Dont you want to expand over here in the US??
  14. I have seen this car in person.. and WOW!. that is awesome he is running deep into the 8s! Sounds like he has the car sorted out pretty well now and knows how to drive a car with that power level. Wished he could have made it to DNI again with that beast.
  15. LOL awesome.. smooth sailing from here on out Phil, Finally you can live the good life!!!
  16. I vote IS300. I have had mine for 2 years and it has been nothing but fantastic. The only down side is the power comapred to the G35. It handles great, the interior is nice and the ride is great.
  17. Scott, your Z is one of a kind man.. Granted you dont see many 308s out there but, your Z is just what was said.. YOU. Like you said the performance of the 308 is barely marginal what 15's in the 1/4 and I bet your Z handles better with all of your modifications. I would also just research cost of parts for the 308.. alt, water pump.. ect ect. Is this the one with carbs or TB's? I heard the carbed 308's where a nightmare to keep all tuned together. They are cool cars for sure but to me yours is more appealing.. But in the end you gotta do what you gotta do.
  18. Just an example here is my timing map per kPa Im currently running. this is on 93 oct.
  19. LOL hey now.. hahahaha whipes brow.. wheew Austin I must say I was relieved when you called and let me know what the deal was! glad it was a super easy fix.. now put that new rubber on and get your 12 sec pass!
  20. the BPR6ES plugs should be fine for you but if you do go with the BPR7ES , I think the part number has changed.. From 2023 (old) / 5534 (new)
  21. Hey Ryan, The has a 5 angle valve job, and is port matched. I am using the na "A" cam as well. In the future I would really like to get the head ported out and maybe a slightly larger cam. right now Im just loving having a 11 sec car!!
  22. *****Update to my update****** I took her down the 1/4 strip at DNI. She drove awesomely up there and ran the best of 11.8@120mph at 20psi of boost. this turbo really does well with my setup. boost comes on quick and pulls hard all the way to at least 6300. I am going to stick it on the dyno on Dec 12th. I will post back what happens.
