  4. Hey guys I really dont know where to start but here is what I have to say. I have been on Hybridz since around 01. When one of my best friends got me into Z cars he told me that this site is all that i will ever need and since i came here i never looked back. This is the only Z site i have registered and gone too. Hybridz will always be one and only one for me. When Hubridz was in need i did my part and i helped out as much i could if i was as bad of guy as Mr. Stan is saying that i am then in that case Hybridz in need would not be my problem but it was my problem. This place is my home and these members are my familly and you coming on here Mr. Stan and trying to make me look like evil person is like insult to my home and my familly. I would like to appologize in advance if what i am about to say offends anyone but English is my second language with matter as sensative as this i will try my best not to offend anyone. That said there are few things that i would like to disagree with Mr. Stan and i would like to bring up few things that he has somehow "ForgottenO to mention. 1. When Mr. Stan was interested in my struts i sent him few hi-resolution pictures to show him the condition of struts. If he would not mind looking in his PM box he would find that i told him that rear struts were installed and never pulled back out (until i took it part to sell them) but i had problem with my front struts bottoming out when i would hit bigger pot hoole so there for i had to take front assembly in and out few times to try to figure out what was going on. Afther talking to Mike (ON3GO) i figured out that i never installed washer that was required for front so i got the washer put it on and my bottoming out problem went away. When i was pulling them in and out i never put any oil in my strut catriage sp and thats the reason why they were scratched out not because as you say that they did not fit. So Mr. Stan you can stop BS about not knowing why they were scratched out because i have sent you more than few pictures so all you have to do is look in your PM Box and there is your friendlly reminder of true story and not the only that you are telling. 2. I sold you struts about 10 months ago in perfect working conditon with no scratches on shafts, no oil leaking anywhere, with very nice movement up & down, and it was responding to all settings (1 through 5). When i sent them i wrapped living crap out of them (especially around shafts) put each one of them in separate box and then all of them together in one box. Now Mr. Stan am i lying about this too now? Do i have to get my buddy from here to vouch for me because it just happens that he was there when i took struts out, he personally took the pictures of it with his digital camera, and it just happens that same night he was around when i was packing them. So now are you gonna call us both liars Mr. Stan? 3. I sent the struts few days later when payment arrived. Mr. Stan got them several days latter and from then i never heard from him again so i was in impression that transaction went nice and smooth and everyone was happy. 4. I get email from Mr. Stan about 2 weeks ago and he is asking me if i still had original recipet for struts because he was having some kind of issues with them (did not really go in specific). I looked in my portfolio sp where i keep all of my Z stuff and i found it. I emailed to him that there was not much info on recipet except that it said 4 240Z ADJUSTABLE STRUTS, price of them and that was about it so i told him i would not have problem sending it to him. Few days later he emails me telling me that he wont be needing it no more because it turns out that two of them were for 280zx and they wont honor lifetime warranty because of inproper installation. Now he emails me few days later but i was not able to check my email yet. This is his response: Ivan, I know that you are busy; but, I have two small companies that keep me pretty busy, as well. Please let me know what you’ve come up with as a fair resolution to the wrong Illuminas that were sold to me. Again, I am not saying that it was done with malice; but, you cannot expect me to pay for parts that are incorrect. If it will give you peace-of-mind, we can post it on the Hybrid site and collect opinions on how to resolve it as fairly as possible; but, that wouldn’t be my choice had I been the ‘seller’. You sold me parts that were "as is"; but, with the assumption that they were the RIGHT PARTS!!! It is your problem that you got ZX struts, and it won't be mine! You sending them back to Tokico isn't going to get me the CORRECT struts (that you advertised)! How many miles were on them, and how great a deal it was doesn't matter, being that they are THE WRONG PART!!!!! Now he is calling me imature because he decides that afther 11 months that i am still responsible for those struts hmmm i dont think so to all i know you could have thrown them around, ran over them, your dog might have made it his new toy. To all i know is that i have sent you perfect working struts with clearelly described condition and with nice set of pictures before you even purchased them from me so once again Mr. Stan please look in your PM BOX and feel free to post it up. If you checked on them and you did not like something the day you got them you should have emailed me then. Since you did not that tells me that you checked them out and you liked them becasue if they were shot there would be clear indications of that. Now why would not sell those struts for 240z? I have reciet that is saying 240Z STRUTS on it, i have used in on my car with great results, plus they fit perfect so now if its not too much for me to ask you to pull your head out of your friends butt and actually go and putt those struts in 240z catchridges you might just make baby Jesus beliver too. Well i apologize for long thread but when Garrett280zt gets a chance to get to his computer i am sure that he wont have a problem to confirm my story about everything but even when he does that Mr. Stan will say that we are both liers and that we should both be banned because if it was up to him WW2 would would have not ended the way it did and this land would be Nazi Germany right now. I will continue this story tomorow because its my day off and i will make sure to get Rick (V8ZRACER260Z) to chim in with his experince when i sold him my seats and how much did i go in detail about their condition. I just checked my datalog on wideband and for some reason with mix of race gas my a/f was dipping in 10-5 and on occasion in high 9's so i took care of that last night and its nice and flat 11-6 11-7 all the way to redline. I also noticed that my t/body is opening about 95% so i will have to take care of that. This next sunday its last Import Wars of season so me and Garrett will be both running our z's and if i am not happy i will have my boost controler handy . Ivan
  6. Well all together it was not bad night. I did manage to go 13.3 but for some reason the car did not feel good like other night. My mph did increase to 104 but i have to hook my lm-1 to laptop to see what kind of air fuel i was getting. I did however run 03 cobra that dynoed 405whp got him out of the hole pulled on him all the way down he did catch up on the end but i crossed line first . Also ran buddy of mine in his 350whp talon he gave me three and kick but also he never caught up . Then there was this s-14 silvia lets just say by middle of third i let off and he never even came close lol. I dont know but for some reason car just didnt feel right my boost gauge was showing 12psi (which never happend before even at 35deg. weateher) which does not make sense because i have 10psi spring in my deltagate even at those 12psi my mph did not change. I ran 13.5 without i/c and lsd at 10psi so something is off for sure. I will however go to the route 66 next thursday and see if i can get some 13.1's. Matt, I belive garrett left your 1/4" and alen wrench fittin in my car when he was putting wideband on his car so i guess we are just gonna have to kill him at least thats an easy solution :malebitchslap: lol. On the side note i cant even remember how many people came to me just to tell me how much they liked the car from teenagers to guys in their 60's that alone made the whole trip worthed and there was some girl that wanted to take picture with me next to my car so off course i had to obey lol.   7. So tomorow is last Rsd of the year (street racing on track) and since its my day off and i always go to watch the event i figured i will run my Z while i am up there. Car felt very strong for the past few days so i am itching very bad to get some new times. Last time i ran it it did 13.5 at 103.5mph and since then i upgraded with lsd rear end, Thagards intake manifold, and got the medium size greddy intercooler. From butt dyno car feels like some very very low 13's and thats what i am shooting for. This will be still done on t-3 with 10psi but just to be safe i will add some race gas because i will be pounding it very hard (that if the car makes it to the track in one piece ).   10. Sup guys! Well its 2am and we just got home little while ago. First off a HUGE thanks to Matt for having us all at his house and big thumbs up for being great host. So this is how my day went. Afther coming to Matts house my brakes were kinda gone so afther meeting few guys that were there we went to work to find out that my rear left hard line had busted so most of my day was spent working, cussing, eating, and some more cussing but with Pauls and Matts help we got that thing worked out so finally i could devote my time to some beeeerrrrr. Since i drink like twice a year it did not take me much to get in very happy mood. When everyone was gone Matt and Garrett cruised out in Garretts car and Matt's sister Tara rode with me btw that is first female that has ever rode in my car but probablly the only one that will ever ride again ohhh well at least she was super hot one 8) (sorry Matt lol). When we went to this cruise spot we just happend to run on awd second gen. talon so we had him sandwiched me on left side, dsm in middle, and Garrett's car on right side. We went second gear roll and talon pulled little on me but by time we hit third i was waving bye bye. So we get to the stop light (at this time Garrett turned off) and i try to talk to this two little dipshits but it turns out that they were to damn cool and crap so i ask him if its gst (fwd) or gsx (awd) and he said its gst with stock turbo but since i know thing or two about those cars i knew it was bunch of bs. So the light is about to turn green and he starts reving living hell out of that thing at that time i see under cover cop car coming behing us (thats why Garrett turned off the road to begin with) light goes green kid dumps livning crap out of it stays on it for while in mean time i just leave line like any normal law obeying driver would do 8) next thing you know lights come on and little prick is getting pulled over talk about getting owned by z's and the cops :malebitchslap: hahahahah. Afther that Tara guided me through some side streets and we went back to Matt's house. Talk about good times. On our way home at about 11:30pm as i am getting on interstate my car just dies so i pull over to find out that my fuel pump in not coming on. As it turns out that from working on brake lines i got my positive wire loose so i just got that thing tight and i was back in the game. As we were driving back this integra rolls up on us with dude driving and his girl in shotgun. So i dont think much of it as i am riding behind Garrett but when he got next to him dude in integra went for it ehhhhh that was mistake L-28T was all over that ass so if that was not enough i decided that i want some of this action so we line up for some three way (got to love threesome) and off we go little integra keeps up for sec or so but i guess his bottle must have run low becuase few seconds later that thing was few bus lenghts behind (about 130mph) so we had dsm for dinner and integra for dessert talk about balanced diet but the guy was cool and gave me honk and thumbs up (all Garrett got was his g/f look on her face as he was walking away). We finally got to our exit and Garrett draged me to this nice spot so we went at it twice from stop (i got kick because he was on drag radials) and ohhh yeah baby my little huffy was spinning mind boggling 10psi and was putting some hurt on mr. 15psi Garrett. He did however pull on my in fourth gear roll by about car or two ohhh well. Matt your cousin giving her husband jerking lesson will be classic . Guys it was great metting you all my cheez heads (got to represent), big thanks to Mike for giving out SIX DIF. MOUNTS i will for sure put that thing to good use again thanks alot Mike. It was great to meet you all guys and ladies and i hope to see you all very soon again but next time i will not be working on my junk . Ps. Rob if you want to get in our little special people circuit you will have to go with some dubs at least but 22's would be my personal pick so that way everyone can get off my ass for running 18's .   13. Well i got some kinda shitty news . My rear brake line busted last week so i got brand new one from napa replaced the damn thing, bleed the brakes twice all around it freaking shoots the damn fluid out but afther about 30min of drive they went to shit again. Its weiard before i get ready to stop i have to pump them few times so they can get some feel and car stops but brakes almost bottom out. So i will take a look at it when i get up and see where is the damn vacum leak if there is one (fluid is fine afther driving). What i dont get is when the car is off hit the brakes few times and they are fine and firm, take it around the block they go to shit again . If i dont get it figured out i guess i will have to come up there in some kind of limp mode 8) . On the side note when i got new rear line i can swear that from looking inside of it that damn thingit looked way larger than old original one ehhhhh. Ivan

  16. I was reading new Hot Rod magazine and that guy is in there. He is some big time engine buildier that specialazes in Efi and turbo setups. It also said that we was runner up at first Pump Gas Drags in Memphis in 1992 (i think). His car was some wagon thing that was running 8.50's and that was his first time at the track it turns out that he was only street racing before the event . Ivan

How about instead of grilling you just hire few stripers and we can talk cars later on...sometimes....hmmm..   18. Here is few realistic prices: L28ET - Good motor from junkyard with wiring $700 MAX Turbo - Stock good for almost 300 rwhp or keep it simple t3/t4 from James about $700 max. Same intercooler, fuel pump, BOV, and Boost Controller - boost controler manual from ebay $20, inline fuel pump like t-rex or walboro is around $110, nice i/c off ebay is $300, couplers and clamps $50 (no t-bolt clamps just regular ones), nice used BOV is about $120, 2.25" piping from jegs is about $80 max. Downpipe - done right by shop will be most likely about $150-$250. Engine management - Stock to begin with. Fuel rail(JSK) w/ 450cc injectors(RC engineering) - Rail is about $100 and svo 360cc injectors are about $100 for six and few more $ to get them cleaned up or 440's from mk3 turbo supra which are also dime a dozen. Bigger throttle body - spacer and 60mm t/b around $150 Max Already have fairly new exhaust and clutch - Keep stock tranny with l28t will work just fine + no work on driveshaft. Install- man damn thing bolts right in get cherry picker and one buddy to give you hand (no rocket scientist required ) and you can get old motor out and new one in in one afthernoon. Then if you are not good with electronics you can spend few bucks and get someone to help you out but that also is way too simple (buddy got it done with guy helping him over the PHONE) plus there is more than one guy on this site that can guide you through. In your case i would stick with l28t it would save you some serious $$$. How far do you stay from James Thagard, ScottieGnz, Rick (speedster sp). Those guys really know their stuff and they all have alot of experience with l6's plus James is excelent fabricator of anything custom. Hope that helps you out some. Ivan

Soileau 74260zt You are right about cable but since i dont have welder i had to rig something up so the car could get to the shop and belive it or not it actually worked ok. frank280zx Filter is there because i dont feel like making the intake that goes forward and then nose dives 90deg. down. bastaad525 Dude that has to be the shortes post i have ever seen from you . I am running the gauges outside because at the time that i got them i did not feel like taking the dash off to put them in and my factory gauges all work including the clock 8) and i just love how they are there right in front off me so i always have a nice and clean look at them. As far as water goes never had a problem i wash the car about twice a week i have driven it in the storm and never had problem with them. wigenOut-S30 Does this mean you will finally leave me alone Gabe . I am going to the Import wars at Rt.66 next weekend and if i get to play with wideband by then i might just go and run it. Ivan
  25. Yes the tach is sideways but when i am sitting back thats the only way i can see allmighty 6k redline . Boost gauge and water temp are outside so i can always see it nice and clear. Pro 5.0 shifter and hacked out console i still have to get a shift boot and block that damn hoole out . How scary is 6.2" 260lbs guy when he is working on his z? Apparentlly very scary 8) . Ivan
