  1. sounds like you aren't getting fuel ... like RB said prob. junk in fuel tank
  2. Those look like zx turbo CV axels ... N/A item as far as I know you will have to find usd or rebuild. I think they are different length as well
  3. did you mark the chain as well before you took it off ? I usually do that but I don't think it is necessary. I think you need to play with the chain and sprocket advancing the links on the sprocket. to get it to line up properly.
  4. the intake will have to come off not hard pain in the ass soak all the studs in liquid wrench or something
  5. I have a couple of rusty ones as well would need to be sand blasted. guess your not making your way over to Asheville anytime soon ..
  6. good luck west coast east coast shipping will be $400
  7. I think I just sent you a manifold but I have a n42 head if you haven't found one already . Be interested in a trade
  8. I have a n42 head that I may could trade ? if you want a scope could tell you if you have dish pistons . those are good cold numbers but not really accurate they should come up when the engine is warm. Let me know I am kinda leaving the N/a world after owning a turbo car
  9. Settlejester is right that Gt35r I had with a 1.03 ar. great for hitting boost at 55mph and up. your friends sounds just right but why not find a cheap l28 with dish pistons opens a lot more room for added boost
  10. if you want to pay for shipping I have one for $40
  11. Compression is 145-150 across all . Steam coming out of the oil fill . Still think hg .
  12. I do have a few oil leaks around the pan etc. yes it is a mess. No overflow bottle so there has been coolant spew over the front of the engine. When I stuck my finger in the cold radiator my finger was covered in oil and coolant. I wiped my finger dry and it was black from oil. My plan is to do a compression test and maybe a leak down. I have done head gasket replacements but never anything on the bottom end or timing cover. I figured with a blown head gasket I would have seen water in the oil not the reverse. I would rather not open the bottom but I think this may just be a new learning experience. Thanks DC
  13. well... Not really losing just transferring. at least a quart or two Can oil pass through the timing cover ?
  14. I think I have a blown headgasket L28et . I have a ton of oil in the coolant but no coolant in the oil. Could I be getting oil in the coolant somewhere else ? I am loosing a Ton of oil ... thanks going to pull the head or engine this weekend if nothing else
  15. Wow Thanks... and that's how you make big HP...
  16. Tim O I would love to hear more as well. I am pushing some where around 15psi with a N/a cam and z31 ECU. Scared to push it anymore. Are you using megaSquirt ? How much boost? what size turbo ? Thanks ...
  17. Umm 450 is a lot . Not to say it can't be done but ...you have more research to do. Will probably need meth inj. And the tranny and rear end is not going to hold up . Not sure flat tops are good idea either
  18. I have a stock one from a ski nautique that I bought with a cracked block . So I have everything Except the block. All cleaned and ready to go if you need any thing else . FI gt40 engine .
  19. I got one with a hole cut in it and a 90 degrees from it . It had a flex pipe and an external wastegate 80 plus ship if you want to see pick
  20. I liked the keep the JWT car like it is I am real happy with it, Just like to tinker probably just stick with Frod and go with a new HG on the dish piston motor . and keep the mega squirt DC
  21. Sorry the MS is tuned for a f54/p90 block/ head sitting in my garage with a blown head gasket. I have a f54/p79 combo with flat tops in my car now with carbs. I thought I may just take the parts off the turbo motor and put them on the na motor but didn't want to mess up a good tune because of the piston difference. I figured a flat top motor with 7psi would be fun on the low end. I believe the heads are the same other than the exhaust liners ?
