  1. prepare to drop the tank about 5" lol I didn't have to undo any lines, just had to take the straps loose and lower the tank with a jack. gotta do it to pull the diff mounting stud and flip it around since the R180 diff cover is shorter than the R200 diff cover
  2. it's way too much work for something that probably won't work as well. T/C rods will need modifying in the T/C rod mount, you'd also have to modify the control arms for them to bold to as well. the sway bar would probably get fucked up alignment as well S13 tie rods won't work, either. just get either Stance setup or do sectioned struts. if you're worried about brakes just do a pad upgrade, more than enough for any street driven car.
  3. both of my Z's are non-GL early '79 cars (assembled in '78) it might depend on what area you live in, I've seen about the same amount of both in the junkyards here.
  4. are you talking the idff? or teh whole rear subframe? the diff will bolt in, assuming you already have an R200 (at which point you're only upgrading to a worn out CLSD instead of an open) if you've got an R180 then you'll need axles from a 280ZX that has an R200. oh hey, have you heard of this new thing they call "punctuation?" it makes it easier for people to understand what you're saying and doesn't make you look like a complete idiot.
  5. It's safe to say that pretty much everything is different from 280ZX to 300ZX.
  6. the hand brake on Z32's is a drum style, it's got shoes that are inside the brake rotor itself, so it's the typical cable system, but doesn't use the actual braking caliper.
  7. I'd like a pair of fenders, if the price is right and they fit well.
  8. DEI Reflect-A-Gold heat tape, keeps my harness from melting lol
  9. there's a couple rare and/or interesting parts in here kinda sorta maybe but not really
  10. he means the Hayashi Streets, not the cheap knockoff brota shitokan. haven't whored my **** in a while 15x8 -37 15x10 -50 205/50-15 all around
  11. goddamnit, if you don't like it, then don't fuckin quote it. I think it's pretty winsauce, just needs bags and to lay frame lol
  12. No, the cars I've seen were FAR from low, and didn't have the adjustable Godspeeds (which still suck) They'll be fine until 2 months to a year from the install when they blow out. I hope everyone that gets emotors or godspeeds enjooys bouncing out of their seats when they hit bumps.
  13. jeez guys, why are you using such shitty coilovers? I've seen cars with godspeeds drive in real life on the street and they bounce around like crazy and ride like ass.
  14. Mike G is having those custom machined for the kit he's selling.
  15. 13mm bolts were for VLSD units(12mm's were for the open ones), which is weird considering he got his stock axles to work, since the VLSD has two different side axles.
  16. http://www.enjukuracing.com/stance-subframe-conversion-bushing-240sx-s13s14-p-10830.html would these work for the front bushings at all?
  17. I would very much appreciate moar pics! also, how much wider is the S13 stuff compared to the stock S130 stuff?
  18. ohh, I hadn't even seen that before, thanks for that! haha I always thought the NA rotors would have been smaller, guess I was wrong haha
  19. that's interesting because EVERY 87+ I've seen in the junkyard had vented rotors.
  20. what about using the Turbo calipers with NA rotors? the 87+ Z31's all had Vented rotors, but the turbos were larger. ah well. lol don't think there'd be too much of an advantage over that solids anyways. can't wait to see what you have in store later on though!
  21. I thought you were going with the vented in the back? did you give up on that project?
  22. quit being a ***** and get stiff springs is all I can say. 6K rates are NOT stiff at all (especially for the rear of our cars, squat and all that stuff)I'm on 9k/10k and I want way stiffer for the rear since my car still squats. Just save up for Stance coilovers.
