  1. yo dog, sell me dem amberlamps! lol I had to ziptie my mudflaps on, and they sit at an angle (cool for me because I have that cool camber to match it)but they're from a Z31 lol
  2. my build thread got locked and sent to the tool shed huehueheuheueheuheuheueheuheuheueheueheuhue
  3. I wouldn't want to do this setup because it limits how low you can go greatly
  4. Hey man, don't listen to sticky lol if it were up to him, every damn 280ZX in the world would have those knockoffs. also, I don't bottom out on my frame rails, so it's all good bro.
  5. I love my S130 as well, it's fun to work on. It's also fun digging super deep to find mods that work well since hardly anyone has seriously modded an S130, or at least documented it well anyways. personally, I much prefer the looks of S130's over S30's, but I'm a weird mofo, so that doesn't mean anything lol and a pictar of my car just because everyone seems to be doing it
  6. you can go about 3" lower on 280ZX struts without having to worry about bottoming out on the strut itself. the hard part would be finding decent shocks that fit in stock length housings. Some guys use MR2 Tokico shocks, although I don't really know how much shorter those are than 280ZX inserts. there's a really nice thread or two about this on ratsun.net, where alot of 510 guys use 280ZX struts, section them, then go real low with their dimes for springs and whatnot, either get some cheapo coilover springs and sleeves for like $80 which should be in the area of like 400-500lb/in springs, or you could get Ground Control coilovers and have them be in the area of 250-300lb/in springs. it all depends on the ride quality you're looking for.
  7. WTF! you spent $140 on strut tubes from the junkyard?! that's crazy man lol I wouldn't spend moar than $60 on a pair of struts from the junkyard, $100 with hubs haha you're not going to section them? what shocks are you going to run? spring rates?
  8. I said they looked pretty good slammed. edit:nvm looked at the pictars closer huehuehue
  9. just fyi, S13 arms are shorter than 280ZX arms, and you need something longer, which is what Mack found out with his build.
  10. They made some a while back, but people had problems with the control arms rubbing the brake rotors so they quit making them. a V2 of the spacer is supposedly in the works currently.
  11. ^do people REALLY not know how to read??? although I do believe that this is the same airdam, just modded and just like all the other cool crap for S130's, it's from Japan so good luck getting one stateside.
  12. you'll find a buyer no matter what conidition it's in BRO.
  13. yea, I paid $115 shipped for mine, and it looked pretty similar to that when the guy sent it.
  14. No that one I wouldn't do purple, I'd do it some other color
  15. Hey, yea, those threads help him hardly at all... you see, I'm not sure if you noticed but S30=/=S130. One of the guys here (username escapes me right now) has converted his car to Z31 front suspension, and basically all you have to do is extend the 280ZX front control arms about an inch or so to make it so the wheels don't have positive camber. Someone else has also converted the rear to 5 lug using Z31 stub axles and companion flanges, but doing so requires machine work to be done to the brake caliper mounting ears.
  16. oh please dude, that's the lamest excuse I've ever heard. I roll with S2K's whose fiberglass lips are less than an inch off the ground and they DAILY their cars. learn to cut driveways and dips and bumps. Also, get proper springs and shocks (and I'm not talking the Tokico ****) and your car will ride better and take dips without bottoming as easily.
