  1. I've actually talked to them, and say that they actually dialed in that much camber, with longer control arms and camber plates to all the way in pretty much... The one guy with ALOT of camber said that he ran soft springs, and that they increase his grip which he likes better, idk lol (same reason guys with AE86's get either longer control arms or Negative Camber Roll Center Adjusters I guess)
  2. I know dude lolI've seen Yasin's car quite a bit, and it's just not the look I'm going for. I never said this was a performance build, hence the mudflaps and car phone that I'm soon to put in She's just a car to have fun in Also, I wasn't referring to FD drivers, I was talking more about the local amature drivers, I've seen them run just as much camber as I have in the front of their car, they say it helps with transitions and keeping the tires from rolling under.
  3. I had thought about it, but I decided not to because I don't want to pull my fenders any moar than I have to, and I like the way she looks like a hovercraft going down the road haha, so I'm going to add moar camber to the front and have it match (not -6* though lol) Also, if I do any type of racing, it would be drifting, and the extra camber in helps with handling while sliding they're 205's mang! it's all in the offset of the wheels, I wanted something super deep that not many people could fit. If I get another set of wheels, they'd be 12" wide with between 225's or 245's.
  4. Autozone doesn't sell wheel spacers... Now, are the wheel spacers you're seeing the ones that have the studs in them? or do you want slip on 15mm spacers? I'm assuming since you said you have long studs already you want the slip on ones... Maybe you could contact one of the companies and see if they'll sell you just the spacers alone? if not, it's never a bad thing to have moar wheel studs laying around, especially when rallying
  5. it's torqued to like 200+ ft lbs of torque... I had to soak mine in WD-40 and hit it a few times with an impact gun to get mine loose
  6. CAI=Cold Air Intake. and no, you can't get the 280ZX ECU chipped. chipping a 280ZX ECU would be like hooking a typewriter up to a printer.
  7. I know you're lookin into the Ford/Mitsu stuff, but a friend of mine uses first-gen Camaro hubs on all of his cars... although I realize that GM uses the 5x4.75" bolt pattern which is different from Ford/Nissan 5 lugs... just something I thought I'd throw out there.
  8. 13mins worth of vids and not even started it?
  9. fronts are now unknown one-off wheels in 15x8 -12 (and 1/4" spacers) with 205/50-15 tires (I can't find any information on them) and the rears are hella *** Eagle Alloys 15x10 -45 with a 205/50-15. Now I'm rockin the full set of one off wheels which are 15x10 -50 with 205/50-15 tires
  10. I'm pretty sure Nissan sells the shims new, and in different thicknesses too. your S130 has the CV axles right? if so, then it shouldn't be TOO big of a deal, only thing is making sure the axles don't end up too long
  11. stretch is your friend, just a bit, like 235's or 245's or something. Falken has ZE512's in 225/50-15 which I think is the perfect size for the "classic jap look" on a 9.5" rim. but that's just me.
  12. I hope you shimmed the LSD before you installed it, doing that helps SO much. There's a thread on Z31performance.com that should help you, but you need to register in order to see it...
  13. What would you use in place of them? if you use the S-chassis spindles, you could use S13, S14, or J30 hubs and rotors if you wanted to...
  14. Turbo is larger and has a different circuit board.
  15. S130 is very dissimilar from the 240SX chassis... first, the 240SX has bolt on struts with seperate spindles, but more importantly, the rear suspension is a multi-link rear on the S13/S14/Z32, whereas the S130 and Z31 both have semi-trailing arm rear suspension. Sure, you can adapt most of that stuff to S130's, but saying they're very similar stock is kinda stretching it...
  16. thought this thread should be linked to here: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/76152-s13-coilovers/ also, this is my current front setup: (I am NOT running the coils at max low, the pic is just to show the amount of adjustment I have.) here is how the car sat with the coils set all the way up: The car felt REALLY nice at this height, but I lowered it (too low for most people) since I'm just driving her on the street, if I go to an autox or some other race event, I'll put everything back up.
