  1. Is there going to be enough room for the injectors in the stock position. I understand you left room for the flange in your renderings. But an injector with (I'm guessing) a pallnet style fuel rail may be a tight fit. Kevin
  2. beautiful car and stunning engine bay. Kevin
  3. The rear of these cars must not get enough attention.I looked, and I only have 2 pictures from the rear of my car and the most recent is from 2005 when it didn't even run and its a crappy picture. Here it is, at least until I get around to taking a few new ones.
  4. The biggest challenge is definitely getting past the frame rail. If i remember right emyrohen's car has the frame rail replaced and has a "box" to allow the exhaust to go through. I think with out that it might cause some clearance issues. Maybe if you could squeeze some oval tubing it would fit but i doubt it. That and I think I remember him saying it was very loud... may become annoying on a street car between noise and heat at your feet. I just noticed this.... it looks like 280zforce has his wastegate exiting out of the fender Kevin
  5. I didn't think I would really get much of anything on Google if is searched for evil banana.... I was mistaken... I should have known better. Kevin
  6. I like the wheels but then again my wheels are just the modern version of the cragars. I have never been a fan of white lettering though.... just personal preference. I think the cars stance and color will make or break the wheels though. I'm sure it will come out great. Kevin
  7. I know I checked auto zone and they were listed but the guy at the parts counter said they were unavailable. You might just try a rebuild kit if the metal isn't too pitted. I picked up the rebuild kit (which is essentially a replacement dust seal and the actual fluid seal) for $9 a side and sanded the cylinders down a little with some 1500 grit sandpaper. I have hardly driven the car, but they have worked thus far. Might be a temporary solution until you can get around to the disc swap. The part # i used was: BRAKE BEST - WHL CYL KIT (76-72 NISSAN) Item No: WCK96855 This is from O'Reilly auto parts. Kevin
  8. I checked with courtesy Nissan not too long ago, and they said they were NLA at least for my 1976. Oreilly auto parts was the only place I could find a replacement part and they only had the passenger side assembly for about $80... of course my drivers side was the one that was leaking. I ended up just getting the rebuild kit for both sides and that has worked so far. Sorry I can't be of anymore help than that, I have not searched for any other solutions as I plan on upgrading to discs eventually. Kevin
  9. The silver car next to the Z is a skyline, but i think he was referring the white car in the distant background. And its actually a mid 70's celica. The celica wasn't introduced until 1970. and that specific one wasn't released in the US until 1976 cause it has the hatchback design rather than the notchback coupe. Kevin
  10. My google detective skills:grin: make me wanna guess Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo...America's oldest Ferrari dealer Kevin
  11. As far as i know, no one on this site has done a rb26/t56 combo, but i haven't really read too much in the rb forum. I did a quick google search and found someone putting a t56 on a rb26, but it was in a 240sx. You might try asking the person on that site what all is involved. http://www.paintballforum.com/automobiles/153827-240sx-widebody-rb27-project.html I think other than just bragging rights to say that you have a t56 6 spd, its really not necessary and just complicating the process. Kevin
  12. This is member "dots" car... I think it is the cleanest execution of the "lights in grill" look... plus its got a jag v12. for more pics... http://ca.geocities.com/dotdotdot@rogers.com/
  13. Exhaust is not yet installed yet but the mufflers came in yesterday. Hopefully i will be able to get the exhaust done sometime next week...we will see. My plan for the exhaust is to have a dual 2.5" inlet muffler installed just under the driveshaft with a single 3" outlet... a second muffler will be installed in the stock location. It has a 3" inlet and a 4" polished tip. Both mufflers are magnaflows. Pics below.... Dual 2.5"inlet/3"outlet Single 3" inlet/4" outlet Polished stainless steel 4"polished tip
  14. no pics for this update but I finally started the car and it sounds awesome. The only real hiccup up was when I was checking for fuel pressure and realized I had none. I looked under the car and realized the fuel pump inlet/outlet were reversed. After that mistake I pulled my head out of my ass and it started on the first crank. Open headers is a little loud for my taste... haha... exhaust should be installed on Tuesday. pictures and video will ensue. Kevin
  15. err... I think he has already read that thread... I only say that because he was the one who started that thread too. hehe In my opinion, I think the window is more of an eyesore than the extra length and roof line. I always thought abut grafting a coupe window into a 2+2 but I found a coupe body pretty easily. I am sure the extra space would come in handy though. Kevin
  16. crappy cell phone pics but.... radiator and electric fan installed... upper radiator hose is just kind of mocked up into position. It still needs to be trimmed a little. another shot of the radiator from the front of the car with the trans cooler again. alternator installed and wired up as well as the belt and pulleys...... the alternator was installed with a mid mount kit from Alan grove components. I really liked how it tucked in and makes the motor a tight package. It only works with the long water pump though. Lokar transmission dipstick. There was no way the stock dipstick was going to fit with the way i ran the trans cooler lines. and it looks a lot nicer too. Coil, relays and fuses were mounted where the battery tray used to be. The battery is mounted in the rear. Its getting closer... I can't wait Kevin
