  2. Japanese Domestic Market Jdmtheory.com , to me thats what its all about.
  3. some of them should. try wheelchoice.com they can get those for sure.
  4. No the ccw's are great, I would still run those are great wheels. Money from these rims is going straight towards the T04e fund
  5. dont do jwt upgrade until car runs good. If you do it when car is running bad it can run worse and create even more problems for you. Get the car to run right first then maybe jwt.
  6. Once saw a 144 blown 355 under the stock hood of a 280z at the track. He ran dual weber sidedrafts atop the blower and it looked like it bearly cleared, but heres the catch: this was a scarab type conversion that sat the motor high and forward, this setup would clear the jtr setup a lot easier. He was running low 11s with a four speed auto, it was bad ass. its going to cost a whole lot to run that setup since the sidedraft carb manifolds are hard to find used. I would just bite the bullet, get the flywheel, and run the 383 if its a money issue.
  7. I wouldnt rule out a leak from the turbo.
  8. pull the jpipe off and see how wet or dry the turbo output is.
  9. Ive been using it, ill be selling it soon im going to step up to something I feel more reliable towards making power. I was able to lean out fuel curve a little bit, but people behind me at wot still complain about the stank and occasional fireball its cool, I just dont feel completely right about running a car like this, just me.
  10. the tailpanel thing in black looks sweet. next thing to do is score some jspec tailights, same red on top clear on the bottom, just a thought. nice car.
  11. P90 is proven, but the p90a stuff is interesting. Ill stick with the solids, its just the caveman in me.

    Instant open exhaust

Im happy to spend most of my time driving either on the fwy or on the streets of San Francisco-AKA straight pipe big muffler or no muffler land!
  13. I would leave the flywheel alone and the spec stage 2 kevlar disk, hd pressure plate is good for 450lbs. But if you need a nice flywheel fidanza gets good reviews from everyone I have heard that runs it. With the spec stage 2, I havent had it either slip or stink on me yet, and I do drive hard-no where near 450lbs yet. The catch is that the clutch engages and feels like stock. I had to mess with the pedal and the slave cylinder to achieve this stock feeling grabby clutch situation but in the end I would recommend this clutch to anyone. On my car stock hydraulics made the pedal either engage too high or too low making it hard to shift, adjusting high made me throw slave pushrods, not fun. Spec- They make puck style too.
  14. first make sure ignition is in good shape. make sure plug wire is secure at both ends. fire it up. still wet-change the injector.
  15. Reminds of me of trying to chase one down in my crx, I was redining and doggin the crap out of the car trying to check it out, I got close on the freeway, but as soon as I got near the guy, he casually stepped on the go pedal and went into triple digits, very very easily
  16. forget the numbers, if it does what you want it to do thats what really matters right? Thats what matters to me anyway, keep rockin.
  17. One thing the mk3 ic has going for it is the piping fits very well in a turbo z configuration. For those already running one I would look into the bolt in aftermarket intercoolers that they make for those cars, you would pick up a lot more efficiency and a little mroe power that gets to be more efficient and more powerful as you upgrade your setup. The tt intercooler is awesome as it cools down 320hp in stock form and its known to be good (maybe not the best) for bpu supras putting down nearly 400 at the wheels, it will suit a turbo z very well and takes up about 30% of the available air stream of the radiator, the stock cooling system will work better like that. Just thoughts.
  18. No idle equipment, and my car starts right up, I do have to blip the throttle in the morning to get the car to start, but it will idle smooth right away. what throttle body are you using, with the 240sx or z31 idle is adjustable, I set mine to 800 and it stays there ok. My startup hg is around -18, goes to 20-1 once I start driving it and alternator kicks on. I would check for leaks in intake piping and everywhere else, egr wont affect idle, never had one. Never had stock tb so dont know if it could be issue or not, but deleting a lot of the cold start stuff could be an issue to with stock tb, just throwing out stuff here.
