  1. hey wondering if you still interested in supra gimmie a ring or email. thanx.
  2. me neither its the gift that keeps giving.
  3. hey are you running stock injectors with that t04b@7psi- and thats intercooled right?? man the way you just described it, youre totally right, more snail power is in order....
  4. one of the guys has a 350/th350, i think im cooked, but im not scared....
  5. hey aux-im serious i wanna make one, i already have the extra turbo to do it, and a scooter like that one, i just want a turbo, no nos for me. ill just use a baby jy fmic and good to go or what?
  6. imho, the RB should have made its way into the US starting with z31, then we would have some bezerk z's out there, and an rb35dett that would have put em on top of all.... i echo those sentiments-no boost, no me.
  7. i really dont like points. i had a 240 with bad points and the previous owner stripped all the screws for them and used self tapping screws, suggest that you go for a 280zx distributor with the e12-80 igniter, i did it and my old car ran really good immediately. have one for sale if youre interested.
  8. i finally got to see that video with sound, man that bike is so hardcore, whoosh whoosh. no bikes for me, i will kill myself something fast trying to be "number one stunner"
  9. 510 good bucket as well. a lot of stuff will bolt up from zcars, and you could make it work as well. they are kinda rare though i think, except in oregon, where they seem to be around in hordes.
  10. dont know if this has been addressed or not already. i have a line on a real cheap b and m trans oil cooler from a friend of mine who is going manual trans, i know that trans run a lot of pressure and can run really hot, are they interchangible, or will it not work??? anyone?
  11. speaking of alts, i recently had to replace mine as well, and when i got it, it would not clear the alt bracket on the motor, i had to use a die grinder and clearance up the alt so that it would fit, and it was the right one for my car??????
  12. dont buy mine, you cant handle it!
  13. i dont know how long even jb weld would hold up as a diff mount, you could just go solid by using washers, youre ride will be harsher but it will hold, if you dont dump the clutch a whole lot or shock it. new diff mount is like 50.00 or less.
  14. going to do a turbo 2 swap into one of these for customer pretty soon, wondering if there is any info or if someone here has some special knowledge they could lend me. thanx.
  15. driving my turbo z around town, dialing it in some more with 7psi, driving normal with spurts of boost, and my buddy alex from around the way rolls on me in his z. its a 72 240z with big flares, 15x9 rubber in back, whale tail, spoiler, 2.8 tripples, cam, 3.90, and a lot of bolt on stuff and a big exhaust. he's never seen this car before but heard the boost, and at the stop light i know its on. left at slightly higher than idle on him and he got the jump, but once the boost hitem, oh man, car started fishtailing and i had to switch lanes with the rear end so i wouldnt hitem, and continued to walk on him on the top end,at the gate it was even, 2nd started going, in third-whew---DISAPEARO. im not doing the street racing thing too much, but you gotta let loose every now and again, now theres two more built z's in my neck of the woods i have to see...... oh boy!
  16. is that a hybrid or a full t04b, im thinking if i keep the car for a long time i would skip the hybrid turbo and go for the big timer. lookin good.
  17. arent you already running a t3-t4? i personally like the stock t3 for a street car, of course the 3.90s help. right now i have boost turned down to 7psi while i continuously tune it on the fly, running like a madman...
  18. hey thats totally true, at least as far as i have experienced. the two head honcho types at the shop are like that but only when it comes to cars ex: "i took all the eldebrock off that car to make it look bone stock" "at OME configuration, it wont boost higher than 7psi then the fuel cuts" "i bought that integra gxr for 3500 and sold it for 6500 the next day." i dont know if thats dyslexia, but i know its funnier as heck, and i respect these guys' expertise so much i dont correct them.
  19. where do you get one of those, id rde one of those things anywhere that i could, i want one.*
  20. check to see if you are getting proper engagement at the pedal. somewhere in a haynes manual they should have pedal height specs for you.
  21. a rust bucket z that runs good makes a great bucket, i had a 73 and a 78 as a bucket for extended periods of time, being around z's makes them easy to diagnose and fix, the 73 was a blast with the su carbs, very easy car to fix, i used to bring to the junkyard and do parking lot hi-po, they shouldve had a tv show about me called "riggem"
  22. just like any other motor, i would like to see someone work a huge blower motor into their setup, like a caddy blower or something like that, i got no issues with my blower, sf climate is too mild for it-do wish defrost was a little faster though.
  23. man thats why i cant ride no motorcycle, i'll kill myself so fast.
  24. eh, beaters a generic term anyways, people know that a beater can be anything from a complete piece of junk to a really nice car that you can drive anywhere anytime. over here we call them "buckets" or "sluckets" or "yuckets"
