  1. bump still need one! Needs to be 70-9/71
  2. I take it you do not have any problems with your set-up?! Leon is that A 3 or 4 row radiator? So you can see in the link provided by Leon the difference between the two Fans. It sounds like Leon isnt having any issues. The set-up I had the problem with was using the the JWT radiator, Which I feel like would have been further away if anything compared to Leon Champion radiator. Perhaps the problem is worn mounts, maybe worn blade too. And now with that fan sitting closer with the two former things mentioned Is causing it to hit. My brothers car definitely had worn mounts at the time when we were dealing with this issue, which weren't replaced until after changing to the earlier style fan. But changing the unit to the early fan style solved the problem for us. Maybe new mounts could have prevented it too though... Good Idea to replace your mounts either if they are worn!
  3. Ah yes, I meant to write the fan blade hub. It offset is different. I see If I can find one a take a picture of both next to each other.
  4. Hi, looking for someone else. They need a good working harness. The one they have has been chewed up to badly over the years.
  5. Its 280zx fan clutch set-up. I Discovered the same problem in my brothers car after I let him use one of my aluminum radiators... The 280zx fan clutch sits to far forward. 280z style should be fine. Worn mounts wont be helping either.
  6. I used pliers and a long thick flat head screw diver. Try spraying a little WD-40 on the clip holding the lock cylinder in place if its difficult to wiggle out.
  7. It is no problem to do with the glass in place. I removed them in minutes once the door panels were off.
  8. Have you checked Wheels bearings front and rear Bent hubs Drive shaft Differential Any lose mounts
  9. A vin that early also wouldn't have the round badge on the quarter panel.
  10. Hey guys. I need a 72-78 mustache bar 72-78 curved transverse link(the one that sits behind the differential) And possibly a 72-78 drive shaft parts will be shipped to 94526
  11. Yes listening for leaks. Also when you turn the screw all the way down, the engine should die once the car is warmed up.
  12. The wiring is a mess. Start there! If you stock harness is too beat up, just replace it. As far as you problem with the car shutting off, who knows, sounds like there are many things that need to be gone through. But my best guess with the info we have would be your power transistor. It sits under the passenger foot well.
  13. Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Try turning the idle screw on the throttle body all the way down once its warmed up. That will help you find any vacuum leaks after the throttle body.
  14. nice but not what im looking for, Thankyou
