  1. I dont have a minute to look at your new datalogs but in the last one, the voltage was around 12.3 volts with the car running. Plus there were several drop outs in the data. You should have around 14 volts in a running car.
  2. Read my above post again...I edited it as I found some strange things in the logs. I have no idea what is making the weird data. Electrical noise? Bad battery? Shorted wiring?
  3. I am wondering if your MAP sensor is going bad, but in looking closer to your datalogs, I see a lot of weird data. I also see a lot of accel/decel enrichments taking place. Strange voltages, strange RPM readings.... Here is what I would do. Recalibrate the TPS, re-enter the data for the temperature sensors, raise your accel/decel thresholds and see what that does. It also looks like your voltages are low. Check your alternator and your battery.
  4. I went through a similar problem. I still haven't completely figured it out. My first hunch when it happened to me was dirty injectors.
  5. Not really clear on your situation but I have two possible chunks of info that might help. 1) Create a separate account in Vista for your son and make it a non-admin account. I don't think he will be able to bypass the "filters" in IE easily without admin rights. You can install his software for him as an admin but he wont be able to screw with critical stuff. He should be able to run his program with his own "limited" account. 2) ZoneLabs has software that can block "dirty" websites. It's contains a huge database of "dirty" sites and won't allow those addresses to open on the PC. It is password controlled and updates the database automatically. http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en-us/zonealarm-computer-security-suite.htm
  6. Looks good David, I have heard some mentions of Ducktail rear spoilers somewhere. I am not sure if that's what you got, but Ducktail seems like a good name fit. What about "Wild Rice"?
  7. Best Wishes, Healthy, Safe, Happy, Merry Christmas to the entire family.
  8. David, this stuff looks pretty handy, but it's a bit pricy to say the least! http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm?form_prod_id=3811&action=product http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecId=4974
  9. That might be caused by NOS. afaik...Big Phil does not run NOS in his engine. Maybe in his cabin tho... Big Phil's new nickname is now officially "Boost Creep".
  10. Looks great David. Can you get hold of some temperature paint to put on your rotors to indicate any temp differentials side to side? It will help you to validate the mod.
  11. With Winters that long.....and ambition. Nice stuff.
  12. LOL. My parents were "off the boat" so they dressed me like they were still in the old country. LOL. The Alfa rusted so badly that I couldn't keep up anymore. I held onto the motor for about 15+ years and finally sold it on Ebay a few years ago with a full rebuild kit NIB...I shoot myself for not having a reserve...it went for $200 with the carbs. Still saddens me.
  13. No, No, No, It's the sought after, 3.25" Japanese Cast Iron Warrior Mustache. You know the 70's mustache that the Japanese tried to replicate to complete the "American Image" of the "sports car driver of the decade" look. Made popular by this statue of a Japanese Warrior Also featured in it's last P90 revision here: . .
  14. The BIG items make the difference. Rust? Paint? Salvageable Bumpers? Accident history? Dash Cracked or Drilled? Seats Ripped? Electrical System Tampered? Running? Gauges all work? Clean/Uncracked interior panels and center console? If all of those check out...then I would say 6K-8K is a fair value for a normal wear and tear car of 75K miles.
  15. My first car... (1972-1988) (1989 - Current) My second car...I still own this one. My GF's Skylark in the background. The car is gone thankfully, the GF became my wife. Z's get you chicks! 1992 or so... Where I grew up in the Bronx with my old Maxima Diesel that was stolen from that very spot. It was my first Daily Driver to preserve the Z. I was hoping to use the LD crank someday...NOT.
  16. I really like the Dupli-Color products, but I haven't used them on vinyl yet. But if their vinyl paints are as good as their metal, aluminum, and hi-temp stuff, I would say go for it. I only use their stuff now. http://www.duplicolor.com/products/vinyl.html
  17. Fast because I am laid off. Lots of garage time!
  18. The car came with two racks and two columns...lol. I cleaned one of them up, and painted it. Fresh grease and paint.
  19. Those are definitely reinforced embankments.
  20. A few updates. Front end is all done. Rear end is all out and getting washed and painted with new struts springs, bushings and seals just for good measure. I mocked up the interior. I should have the rear end all freshened up and installed within the next week or two. Once the rear is in, I will work on completing the interior and going over all the HVAC stuff. Then I will bleed the brakes and put her on the Panasports. Once on the ground and rolling again, I will begin the refresh of the L28. 2 more months ETA. The fresh canvas
