    Well.. MS1 with Megasquirt n Spark EXTRA has (12x12 fuel/spark maps) http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/index.html Does it matter?! yes if you want a rock solid AFR all the way across the powerband, the more fine tweaking the better. EXTRA also includes : If you want to check out my car Daniel i can show you the ins and outs, I finally have a laptop for full tuning. I can help with the install too

    I agree w Garrett.. when I changed from the T3 to the Holset my whole map had to be vamped. BTW - notice this thread is 2 years old?

    here's a good tip. Clean off the ends of the charge pipes.. Spray with HAIRSPRAY, slip the silicone couplers on and tighten down. I promise its like super glue that will break off cleanly with a twisting action.

    hurm.. sounds like a sour deal =( but if the bill of sale indicates "gift" and you signed it unfortunatly there is not much you can do about the price. HOWEVER... switching VIN tags is FRAUD and you can sue the guy. Im sorry to hear about your troubles.. but welcome to Hybridz!! another PROUD owner of a Z car!!

    I know you hate searching... but 10psi without an intercooler 12-13psi with an intercooler. sure you can run 15psi if everything runs smoothly.. have an AFR guage or detonation detector?! I would recommend using one unless you like rebuilding your engine.. since you have a metal head gasket your pistons skirts or rings will blow first. By the way what is your FMU (RRFPR) ratio?! 1:1? 1:2? it will make a difference on fuel pressure.

    yes and yes. a turbo running open .. will dump the air directly into the firewall.. keep in mind.. brake lines?! brake master cylinder and booster?! at least a pipe to direct the hot exhuast gases which could be still igniting if the timing is retarted OUT of the engine bay is a smart choice. If you need a stock downpipe I have 2. let me know. I have a 280zxt and a 300zxt that both fit a T3 turbo.
