shadytrixta1's setup is nice for low boost applications.. problem comes with high boost, that wastegate outlet from the turbo is so so small, it would require some porting to open up and prevent creep.

Reasoning... "you were accelerating at a very high rate to the speed limit which was dangerous for the conditions." It was 11:10am on a saturday morning.. on a 70 degree day down a 3 lane road with a 55mph speed limit. Supposedly I can be pulled over for accelerating too quickly. Um.. I didnt know there was a law or limit to the linear acceleration to the speed limit on a licensed and legal vehicle. He gave me a warning because I would loose my license for it. Thank you Officer

Matt, why didnt you just weld up the internal wastegate and build an external setup? 280zwitha383 keep in mind feedback is placed typically immediatly after the package is recieved or FIRST bolted on.. yeh itll be fine for a little bit, but try actually running it hard then the housings will seperate or the bearings will be shot. every part ive ever left feedback for was after I opened it and it was "as described"

OHH btw .. run Moby's setup.. he has very similar specs to your setup. see if it works than fine tune

Yes sir! I have my 4 pin HEI unit mounted on a heat sync from a computer.. you can find them at radio shack. I have some heat sync compound between the HEI unit and the heatsync.

yeh I made sure to go to the config and ACTIVATE the new firmwire with MegaTune. I wonder what settings are way diff from 021u reguarding spark

Alright guys I am running 021u .. and old old version now that I have a laptop I have been trying to upgrade to 024, 029q 029v and the HiRes 09c code.. and the car runs like crap I printed up all screen shots of the 021u code and settings.. and spent like 20 min typing the settings in the new version. I have tried upgrading the firmwire, opened up Megatune and configured it for the new code .. and began pecking away matching the settings exactly. and still the car runs terrible. today alone I tried 029q and the HiRes code. the HiRes code ran better than any of them, but was cutting out and was crap. any ideas?!

Gate (pin1) has a small wire soldered onto it, and it leads to the X4 output on the PCB2.0 board. It is soldered to only X4 and I made sure there was no other contact. The wire has a 100ohm resistor inline from the FET to the X4 output. The wire leading from the GATE on the FET also has a 10k resistor to the Source (ground) wire Basically identical to this
