  2. Daniel I ran Porterfield RS4's on my toyo front brakes last time with fair results when I was at Golden. I still have them on the car for daily driving.

  5. how about Vildini Motorsports out of California?! they do it
  6. Daniel do you have illumina's on your Z? what setting to do you have on the fronts and rears if you do?!
  7. did you guys use your own tubing bender for your cages?! I am very interested in building up my own cage after reading this thread, or at least a roll bar and maybe some door bars. Whats your recommendation on MIG or Flux?! otherwise its time for me to buy a nice bottle.

  12. oh thats right I can control the HZ output.. 5.6hz all the way to 39hz. what would be the best? probably the highest setting Pete?
  13. im all dizzy and prob in the 300rwhp + range with my Holset just the altitude is killing me.. 20% loss
  14. thats a good idea Bryan!! that way I can keep the LED in the car and see if it turns on! great idea! what kind of resistor should I use?! would a 1/4watt 470ohm work?? i have several spares
  15. nice!! very impressive Austin!! im jealous as always! 400+rwhp? dyno? haha
  16. I thought the RB26 came with ITB's from the factory?!
  17. ehh too expensive.. nice! but too expensive
  18. what tranny will you be running Bryan?!
  19. Yeh I agree with Forrest. its all in tuning.. you need to be more patient. the lean spike on throttle tip in can be fixed with "MAP dot or TPS" tuning. once the car warms up, it jumps out of "warm-up mode" which enrichens the fuel. Best thing to do is tune while all warmed up. Then wait for it to cool down, start up the car and adjust the "enrichments" on the warmup mode to get a nice AFR. Decel pops are normal with lean conditions. Im using the over-run cut off, so when cruising and I stay off the throttle more than a few seconds, it cuts fuel to save on gas and allow engine braking. Right when it cuts the AFR will go to O2/20:1 and pop.
  20. I have a 3.54 R180 in my Z. original setup was an automatic in my 1978 280z. Pulled that out and installed a 5-speed, kept the stock rear end. I like it. Top end is awsome, my speedo read 145mph last night when goofn on the highway
  21. an electronic solenoid will BUZZ if the solenoid if bolted firmly to a fender or firewal. Buzzing would also indicate an off balance turbo, yes it can be within almost NO shaft play and see be unbalanced.
