  1. Shipping via greyhound is another option (depending if there is a station near you).
  2. Is this the one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Complete-metal-brake-line-kit-Nissan-Datsun-1970-1996-change-corroded-lines-/220923285795?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A240Z&vxp=mtr&hash=item33700dd123#ht_7501wt_922

    R230

Many were calling the Q45 R200 an R230 awhile back so it's understandable...you can see this in a lot of the old threads.

    R230

The 84'-88' 300zx came with long nose r200 diffs. The Infiniti Q45 in the US came with a short nose R200 with a 3.54 ratio. I measured the Q45 short nose R200 and 300zxtt short nose R230, but I need to look for the info. The R230 is bigger and heavier.

    R230

From the diff flange and input yokes, its not a 300ZXTT R230 diff.
  6. R200 3.36 also came in the 2+2 260Zs
  7. I guess they are called the RK-R now: http://clubroadster.net/vb_forum/showthread.php?t=48399&highlight=rota+fast+forward From the above thread someone posted this link: http://rotablog.co.uk/blog/?p=4231 It stated the following: It’s mid-week here in the Rota office so we thought we’d tease you all with an upcoming wheel we’re sure will be a hit! This is the Rota RK-R, the next generation of the Rota RB. In a 15x8in low-offset fitment (either 0 or +10) it’s another quality design perfect for hatchbacks and MX5s. This particular RK-R is specifically for the AE86 with a 4×114.3 bolt pattern, but by the time these are ready for release we’ll have a 17in version available too…
  8. LOL the side by side comparison was funny
  9. For the 3.0L RB30 blocks from Aus and NZ, Spool Imports offers a crank to make it a 3.4L: http://www.spoolimports.com/spool-crankshafts/nissan-rb30-stroker-crank
  10. Did you read all of the first post? Nizzan had a machinist make one.
  11. Not sure about the 09' and above, but I have an 07' (3.54) and 08' (3.9) STI diff and they are both Torsens. 04' - 06' STI diffs are CLSD (3.9 in the 04' and 05', and 3.54 in the 06').
  12. Well, knowing what year it came out of helps you determine what ratio and LSD type it is: 04' and 05' STIs came with a CLSD, 3.9 ratio 06' STIs came with a CLSD, 3.54 ratio 07' STIs came with a Torsen LSD, 3.54 ratio 08' STIs came with a Torsen LSD, 3.9 ratio I'm not sure what the 09's and up come with. Edit: the info above is true for US models...not sure if they differed in other markets.
  13. Far East Movement (FM) had Aziza's car in their "Like a G6" video, now they have three 240Zs in their "Rocketeer" video. Somebody in the group must lilke S30s
  14. You can also search on car-parts.com for the missing pieces from other cars. Is it a Rev-up motor?
  15. But are you running an R180 from a Subaru STI? That's why the custom side axles from JohnC or modded STI axles (like Nizzan's thread) are used in this case.
  16. When you paid through paypal did you use a credit card, a paypal balance, or transfer from your checking account? If via credit card, you can dispute it with them (give them a call). You can then provide all the info you have (emails b/t you and seller, etc.), they'll review it, then get back to you on whether they refund you or not, and the amount they'll refund you.
  17. Give them a call. I believe they have forged L28ET pistons too.
  18. I totally agree. By him not responding to your 175 offer, its implied he wasn't interested. Why email him after a week just to mess with him and insult him? That was pointless and childish. Negotiations will always happen when selling parts...its a given.
  19. Yes, it's ease of installation. If maintaining the Armada output flanges/CVs, you run into obstacles going either route (TTT vs. 4-CVs). Going 4-CVs, modern Motorsports has the CV adapter and shortened axles for the Q45/Z32TT CVs...you'll need different CV adapters and possibly differrent axle shafts (if Armada axle shafts are larger in diameter). If going the TTT route, same deal with the axle shafts if larger diameter-wise...also if planning on using the Z32/Q45 hubs, you need to use the Z32TT/Q45 CV/input from the axle (on the hub side) to work.
  20. I remember reading that the CVs were beefier on the Armada R230...I'll do some searching and try to find that post. Looks like Z-Gad ditched the Armada output flanges/stubs in favor for the Z32TT R230 output flanges/stubs so they don't have issues matching up with the CVs on the Z32TT/Q45 axles.
  21. Great pics! Not sure if you saw what Z-Gad did for his R230 Hybrid, but here's a quote from a post on another thread. Hope this helps: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/75078-some-2jz-gte-questions/page__view__findpost__p__716864
