It looks like initial d because many of the staff members that worked on Initial D stage 4 are also on staff for Wangan Midnight. Unfortunately those guys that translated the manga only did volume 1 and a little of volume 2...to give you an idea of how much story there is, I picked up volume 37 in Tokyo last week. Hopefully they'll animate all of it.

It's possible the guy who built that car just has the best sense of humor　of all time.

I don't have pictures yet, but I found some　amazing S30 models here...I might be leaving　some clothes behind to fit them all. It's funny, I've seen more GTRs than I have 350Zs while I've been here.

Where did you go in Osaka?

I've been wanting to visit Japan for 6 years and now I finally have the chance. Some friends of mine from my Japanese class organized a trip and now I'm going - no concrete plans other than 2 days in Osaka and Kyoto. There are a million things for tourists there, so I'm sure we won't get bored. I'm going to see if I can stop by Kameari Engine Works, they recently posted a lot more L28 goodies for sale. Anyone have any suggestions? Just wish I could bring my Z over to the Wangan Expressway. Oh well, maybe we'll rent a Skyline.

They are 2" higher?? That doesn't bother you? It drove me crazy to have my seat 0.5" higher. They look like good seats, though.

John, I saw your post earlier on where you said that this image: http://forums.hybridz.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=2703&d=1178037302 was -not- what you wanted to do in order to seal up the area to the radiator. Could your clarify? That picture is exactly what I thought you meant by that, so I'm confused. I am not asking you to comment further on the effectiveness of sealing it up or specific test results from the wind tunnel, etc. Could you just point out what the difference is in your suggestion and in that picture? Sounds like the fork is either broken or disconnected if you can move it by hand. Unfortunately that means you'd have to drop the tranny. It's easy if you have a transmission jack (49$ HF.)

True, but the challenges are usually about handling, and out of the cars left, which ones are going to handle better than the Trans Am? (And I know that's not saying much.) Also, as far as navigation skills and attitude, they have consistently come out on top. Their main competition has been the F150, but the F150 can't handle the challenges, so I think they have an edge.

Those Lotus guys lost because they are idiots. That car was dominating. As cheesy as some of the moments are, I love this show. If I were going to try and win it, I'd put a 40gal cell in my Z. I think Team Transam has it in the bag.

That's assuming they fit. I'm interested to hear, perhaps he will post an update with tire sizes and maybe even pics?
