Quick question, thumper got me thinking about this with his actuator question. I run 22+ psi on my motor. I am currently using a 7psi spring and regulating boost with my boost controller. Is there any advantage to using a 14psi spring? I never run under 14psi really.. Just curious! I have noticed boost falls off a psi or so on the top end. Thanks - Evan

Having mig welded, I disagree. There is definitely enough slag to be concerned about others property. However, I do agree it is pretty minimal. All it takes is one spark to ruin your windshield. Evan

I have had great luck cleaning pinch welds of rockers with a knotted wire brush mounted on a grinder. Made SUPER short work of the paint. WEAR GLASSES, the speed stuff wings off that wheel is scary. Evan

Z32 tranny does NOT bolt up without either an RB25DET or an AWD bellhousing.

Mine was mounted like that about 8 years ago. Worked fine, but I had it closer to the core support. That mounting "style" is as old as time... or at least Scottie GNZ's car! lol

Its not accurate throughout the RPM band. I could swap in a 300zx gauge to my cluster if I needed perfection. I dialed it in so rev limiter is at redline. I certainly don't need it to drive, so it does the trick. Evan

No offense, but with these questions you seem very ill prepared. Converting your car to AWD is something that is based in fantasy land. I am not saying it can't be done... just that the time, money, R&D to make it work would not be worth it. It would be cheaper to swap your car, and buy a WRX imo. I won't even get into the transmissions. Do some searching. You won't be using the AWD trans unless you heavily modify it. Not worth it IMO. There is a writeup on using an RB bell on a Z32 trans. Read it. I am 99% sure there is no RWD 6 speed, or AWD 6 speed for that matter. Evan

Thanks for the information guys, unfortunately it seems as if my boost controller finally died today. I can't get boost over spring pressure at all now. I bought it 10 years ago, used.... I think I got my money out of it. I think I am going to go profec B this time. Evan

Alright guys, this is actually for my GF's 2.3cl. I put a full exhaust on it years ago thats 2.25" with a straight through can on the back. Its WAY too loud and annoying. I have already gotten a warning in WI for it. I want something that flows reasonably well and is quiet! It does not have to be flashy. If it looks stock-ish thats fine. I would prefer something thats not prone to rust. This is for a 2.3 liter motor FYI. Thanks a lot guys, I come to you for help!!! Evan
