  1. I have heard of that problem before, Glad you solved it! Evan
  2. Man, If I had a house with a garage, a welder and lived in Canada I would be all over this! haha Hope it goes to a good home, its a generous offer. Evan

  4. I don't remember. I datalogged as we went, but didn't save the logs. Why do you ask? Evan
  5. Hang in there Gabe, three days ago my car wouldn't run and I didn't know why either! Evan
  6. Thanks guys, I was a little dissapointed but bottom line is I did tune myself. Someone who really understands tuning better could make more power for me. Apexi power FC. I have a feeling that run may have netted more like 370 if the boost had not bled off so badly in the end (you can see torque falling off as boost falls). Thanks for the encouragement guys. Evan
  7. RB25DET S2 T3/T04e stage 3 wheels 60 trim .63ar (22psi) Custom intake manifold (scottymiz is THE man) 650cc sidefeeds Exhaust manifold modified to fit tial wastegate Alky control meth kit (not used this go round) Z32 maf FMIC Head studs Greddy timing belt (not really a mod but whatever) Judging by the TQ vs HP that I generally see with RBs there is a lot of power left in there. This is a pretty conservative tune that was done by me, and not an experienced tuner. I really didn't mess with timing, just A/F. Evan
  8. Ill update with more information later, but I ran on a dyno this morning. It was a dyno dynamics? He said it would read way lower then a dynojet. 22psi, with boost bleeing off to 20psi across the board netted 336whp and 375 torque. I am going to put a bigger spring in my blowoff valve, I think its blowing open. WOT sounds real good! I wish I had more information. Ill update later. I gotta run. Evan This is an RB25DET btw.
  9. I am looking at the shot from the rear, is that an optical illusion or is there about an inch of tire not touching on the outside due to camber? I had redone my suspension and dialed the camber in, I saw a big increase in traction when using the entire tire width. I would especially think this would be the case in a z. Just trying to offer some constructive help. Evan
  10. I had the exact same symptoms as you, and this was the problem. I suggest you consider cleaning it out and backflushing. Mine was plugged but I could not tell by looking through the radiator cap opening. You should not have air pockets if you burped and bled the air out of the cooling system. Evan
  11. I had a simaler problem, mine was a plugged radiator. I had it rodded out and all was well.
  12. Thanks Tim, Ill probabally do my own regulator since the map sensor is under the dash a fair ways away from the ECU. I am going to make sure the stock boost solenoid wire won't work first. That would be too easy. The regulator seems like a reasonable alternative. Thank you! - Evan
  13. Quick question! I have a 3bar map sensor with my alky control kit and now need to wire up the 5v source for the map sensor. Should I just drop voltage with a resistor? Does anyone know what size? Grab voltage off of another sensor in the EFI? Thanks guys! - Evan
  14. Good tip. I would have screamed like a little girl and ran from the garage.
  15. Thats tragic... At least that man will be remembered through all of his creations. R.I.P.
  16. You can get amp connectors from http://www.mouser.com The catalog is very cryptic, so take your time and make sure you order everything you need... pins, socket, strain relief etc... If anyone does not know how to solder, then start practicing. It is tremendously useful. IF you decide to crimp a connection, I reccommend using one of the butt splices that is insulated and filled with heat shrink/glue that makes for a weathertight seal. They are not cheap, but having a few around can be super handy if your somewhere where you don't want to heat. Evan
  17. Nice work, simple and clean! I love it. Good job on fixing your rust too. Sounds like a busy couple months! Evan You may consider using phillips screws and caps that press into the heads. Realistically, if someone wants your stereo they will take it. But if you disguise the screws so the location of them cannot be detirmined from the outside of the car you may discourage the lazy thieves.
  18. Move to canada.. Good call on the amperage rating. A fuse is actually in place to protect the wire not the device. Fires are not good LOL. You can look at what gauge wire you are using and length and detirmine a good fuse rating from some online calculators (this is if you don't know the current draw of the device). Evan
  19. The wastegates seem right on with normal prices.
  20. Is that contraption in the photo above directional? Or does it matter? I am troubleshooting my motor right now and am not sure if thats hooked up correctly (IE backwards). Evan
  21. Whoa, amazing. You should be proud!
  22. Looking good! I like the choice. Old school 5 spoke feel but without looking like everything else on the market.
