  1. I do like the "bling" factor of the copper stuff LOL. Thanks guys, Ill prob. just use gasket goo. I ordered fire ring gaskets for my wastegate though. I have had no leaks with my tial gate and those gaskets. My external gate is plumbed in through the exhaust manifold btw. Evan
  2. I actually laughed out loud. This person definitely got an A in creative writing!
  3. I had 320ix seats. Man I loved those things. They were the bimmer recaros too.
  4. I didnt notice, but how old is the swap? Maybe its just from actually driving it. Hell, there is dirty water on everything! lol. Seriously cool though.
  5. The alcantara is 800/seat If your gonna spend almost 2k on seats, buy what you really want. Seems you were admiring the recaros. Evan
  6. Man, that is SOOO cool. Props to you for your skills. That is truely amazing. Evan
  7. The flange isn't quite flat, and I have to cover/seal around the hole for the old external wastegate. It is possible though unlikely, that a chunk could get into the turbo housing and get blown through the exhaust wheel. EEEK. Better safe then sorry. Thanks guys - Evan EDIT, after much searching I have given up on finding a gasket. Seems to me that the RTV is the only way to go, especially if getting another gasket is this big of a pain.
  8. Looking for a good gasket for the downpipe on my t3/t4 turbo. I have been looking on the net and am not having much luck. I can find the stock nissan units all day long, but not the ones that fit the standard 5 bolt flange. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I have heard several say to use high heat gasket maker, but with 1500 degree EGTs, I don't want to have to do anything again. Thanks guys - Evan
  9. I saw that too. That movie looks freaking hilarious!
  10. What a cutie, I am sure those sparkplugs I see in the background were first to get flung LOL. Evan
  11. I came out of a store one time to see my car flanked by a porsche and a bimmer. Quite the honor lol. I hear ya though. I treat a parking lot like a public restroom, one urinal buffer zone! lol Evan
  12. LOL at your turbo and no car! I bought my RB before I bought my 240sx by several months. That way I couldn't back out on the deal. Evan
  13. Mike, I see this thread is old as well. Sharp looking ride though!
  14. Damn, wish I had known that was for sale before.. someone will do BIN before I can scrape the cash together. Been looking into alky for quite some time now. Evan
  15. I think you got a very good deal. Nice car. You should be proud. Are you going to bring it to DNI? I don't think I would go throwing on MSA bumpers etc.. quite yet. Unless you want to do body work on a car that does not need it. Once again, I like it!
  16. They gap the panel for welding, and hold it from both sides. Eastwood.com has em'
  17. Well, after much reading it seems as if there is no good way to test a manifold besides strapping it to a motor. Evan
  18. Thanks for the laugh John. Evan BTW, cool triumph! I had a tr6 for about a week before I sold it. Big project, and I am too tall. I look like an idiot in one.
  19. Nice car Austin. I am in the middle of putting cloth 350z seats in my s14. Evan
  20. Sorry if this is the wrong placement. I have a hybridz member making me a custom intake manifold for my RB right now. The popular "knowledge" says that RB's like to lean out on #6 with forward facing plenums and single TB's. I am curious to know how severe this effect will be with my new intake manifold. I am seriously considering meth injection but won't do it unless I know my air distribution is good. If the air distribution is good, then meth distribution would be good. Is there anyone anywhere who can flowbench an intake manifold for me? I know its not a perfect situation on a flow bench, but it would give me some chance to see whats going on. Or is this so prohibitively expensive that its pointless to spend the money. I know even the greddy runs the rear cyl. a bit lean. Thanks guys - Evan
  21. Heres looking foward to seeing you guys run again at DNI. Evan
