Dude, this is totally off topic but I would reccomend you do suspension right after driveline (if not before).
Fast cars and crap suspension are downright dangerous!!

EDIT; Sorry for the threadjack man!!
Im going to sidebar this conversation, we are cluttering up his thread.
Ill start another post in this forum and we can discuss.
BTW, I can tune like that with my power FC, there is a percentage value you can tweak for each cyl.
Evan
Jesus, Legroom should not be a problem. I wear about a 34-36" long pant and I was able to sit comfortably. I am 6'3" and 170lbs.
You should sit on a pillow on the floor.
You had better sit in a z, but I can say you won't fit with a helmet on!!
Evan
Typically cyl. 6 runs lean on an RB or any 6 cyl. with a forward facing manifold...
Even NISMO recognized this and made a plenum to replace the RB26DETT part that minimized this.
Evan
How tall are you and whats your inseam? I am not exactly short.
Evan
BTW, I was concerned about 240sx fitment because there is less space to mount seat low.
The layback ones look VERY interesting. I will not buy a seat that I cannot try on for size. I also don't want a set that someone over 100lbs won't fit into LOL. I have some plus size buddies!
Evan
Hahah!
I put a pair of DAD seats in an S10 a couple years back. Seat quality may have gotten better as well though.
Hopefully I will be able to make it this coming DNI. Ill see what happens.
Evan
Forrest I have an S14. I would much rather have a more comfy seat. Too bad you were not at last SEZ, I was there with my z. Last time I saw you we were driving to somewhere in bama and I couldn't keep up with you jerks in my Acura. lol.
Evan
I hear bad things about 5 or 4pt harnesses for DD's without cages. Rumor has it you will get your noggin smashed in a rollover. Also elminates the effectiveness of (my) airbag.
When you did the valve cover breather, did you block off the PCV line running to the intake manifold? If you didn't you are pulling un-metered air into your engine and causing it to run lean.
Also, do you have a copy of the FSM? There is a setup procedure as far as idle voltage when its just sitting with the throttle plate closed.
Post up if you don't have it and I will look it up and email you the pages.
Evan
Totally agree we are splitting hairs! However nobodies pissed yet so I consider this a valid conversation! lol.
Back in the day I had a flex fan on my car with the bending blades.. that thing had to be the biggest HP drain ever. Plus it was a finger whacker! That was long before I understood such things.
Evan
You really can't expect to be able to get a car for half the asking price. The fact that you dropped your price to 800 shows good faith, and he should have taken that deal.
Its basically dead center between what you were asking and what he offered.
Screw that guy.
Evan
IMO it has alot to do with your presentation.
Lowballing while explaining what the car needs and what a piece of crap it is will just offend and piss off the other party.
There was a pair of speakers on craigslist for $500, turns out the seller was a person on an audio site that I frequented. We spoke back and fourth several times, and I basically told him that I could not afford the asking price but badly wanted them. I ended up paying half what he was asking.
Its all about presentation. I have had lowball offers that pissed me off so bad that I could never sell it to the guy for ANY price. I have also had lowball offers from people who had built some repor (sp?) with me that I took up on the deal.
Evan
In my experience, non-certified does not always indicate that they are not safe. I am sure the cost of certification would run the price up high enough where they would no longer be a deal.
At some point, I have to do seats in my 240sx. The seats in my car are having the seat foam break down a bit and its uncomfortable.
Nice to hear your guys' opinions. On the other nissan forums etc.. all I ever hear is them yelling BRIDE. BARF.
Keep the info going guys!
Has anyone considered putting mitsu EVO seats in their car? I am considering going that way. Bummer is the blue inserts in most won't look good in a green car IMO.
