  1. I got screwed out of a deposit on an apartment and spoke to a lawyer. It was about $500 that they kept. It was VERY cut and dry that they were in the wrong on multiple levels. They didn't comply with a few laws when dealing with the situation. However, I was advised to walk away. By the time all was said and done with a lawyer I would have been paying out money even if I won. Evan BTW, if you DO go to court I wish you best of luck!
  2. Wow, I would actually spend money on that design as opposed to the open plenum greddy that they put on RB motors. Looks very promising.
  3. Shrouds help dramatically, but i do really like your mounting method! looks very effective and secure. evan
  4. LOL those are the same fans I have. I think they are louder because I set them up as pushers. S14.. requesting permission to take off. The fans were WAY louder then my motor at idle. Granted I was running a PAIR of fans. I have since yanked the relay on one, and moved the temp sensor so it cycles on and off. Its much less annoying now. Word to the wise, use the same temp sensor but two relays. I had a relay fail in my car and damn near overheated in traffic. It was also too much current draw and the relays got excessively hot. Also, fuse both power leads seperately and I do NOT reccomend using the circuit breakers that come with the kits. Wire up fuses. You will know when one fan dies on your, its much quieter. I had my circuit breaker continually tripping for no reason, leaving me fanless. Just a few tips, wanted to save you some headache. Current draw for two fans is pretty high too. My idle pulls down when they come on. Evan Yes, I am going to try to make it to SEZ again! Maybe this time ill turn the heat off in my car to make the ride more bearable!
  5. I just wanted to say thanks. It seems rare anymore that anyone comes onto forums for influence in a decision. Usually they listen, then buy whatever they want. You made a good choice! How much more were the brembos? Evan BTW, Whats NOT to like about light up washer nozzles? lol
  6. Zeitronix is what I have. I have no gauge and log with my laptop. Excellent investment IMO.
  7. Be warned, some ebay fans can be VERY loud. I have maradyne fans. While I cannot complain about performance, they are embarrasingly loud. Ask anyone who saw my S14 at SEZ last year.
  8. Actually I had seriously considered putting one on my balcony. Can you imagine being below me sipping a drink and metal shavings start falling from above into your hair/drink/eyes? HAHA Evan
  9. ^ exactly ^ I was as quiet as absolutely possible. I know the neighbors adjacent to the garage, but there are new people in one unit so I kept hush hush. Evan Whenever I actually get a house I am going vertical bandsaw for sure.
  10. Hahah, I have never been so glad to feel like a dumbass. There were small chips on the impeller tips so I thought something more sinster may have been at work. I bought this new a couple years ago. Evan
  11. I am going to weld it a stitch at a time and work around the flange in a feeble attempt to get it half way flat. Evan
  12. Haha, I know about the O2 sensor placement, my old location was just about right. I am going to locate them in a more inconspicuous spot this time. I cut the tubing with a jigsaw, which sucked. Evan
  13. This is made from 3" mandrel bent tubing for my rb25det in my s14 240sx. I still have to add the V band at the bottom, and drill for o2 sensor bungs. Also gotta do the pipe from my tial wastegate to the downpipe. I tacked these together in my apartment complex building with a wire feed LOL. I hope they let me renew my lease HAHA. So I guess its not totally done, but its been awhile since I have done any fab. I am working around the steering shaft which runs right under the outlet on the turbo. Getting it close to the floor as reasonably possible was my goal. I am sick of dragging my exhaust!!! My old one did not have the fitment that I was happy with, its a couple years old and rusty too! Evan
  14. Found this when I took my turbo off this last weekend. Why is it white? I assume it sucked something up. It does NOT seem bent. I know there is a tad of blade damage on the tips. There is no wear on the housing and everything else looks fine. Evan
  15. Oh, I am sure you would not crack a set of high end rotors. Its the ones that are inexpensive I would be weary of. Evan
  16. You need to start trolling zilvia.net wheel/tire area. I have seen a set like that pop up from time to time. Lots of guys run close to 0 offset wheels on 240sexes Evan
  17. Hey what the heck, it sure can't hurt to give it a shot. We have a rather large belt sander at work that may do the trick too. Beats giving the machine shop 50 or more bucks. Evan
  18. I assume the gearset is pretty much the same. I know it is actually, I have had a 26 trans apart before. The 26 trans is friggin ginormous.
  19. I replied to your post on nico.. Can't use the stocker.
  20. Good point, Ill grab a lotto ticket as well then. LOL Thanks for the chuckle. Evan
  21. The one with the single wire is for the factory water temp gauge. The other one is the one the ECU uses (red). Evan
