Scottie, dont have alot of answers for you but I am thinking it may be difficult to use the system with your ride. I belive the injectors are triggered at the distributor, they are batch fire, so in theory you can tape back two injector leads. This probablly doesnt help much, but best of luck man. I am very impressed by your motivation to try this stuff out! Evan

I toasted an alternator because i didnt have a ground strap from frame to block. I used a delco alternator on my L6 and ended up using 0 gauge ground wire. Looks cool, and no worries anymore Evan

Hey guys, I am finally un halfassing my crankcase ventilation system. Someone had a sweet setup with braided lines etc,... WHO WAS IT! i wanna see pics cause im gonna bogart your idea. First of all.. the N/A L motor is tough to make big HP. I wouldnt touch the stock FI system. The airflow is a monster restriction and the fuel maps dont support big cams too well. I would say you would be happy with 210hp off of that motor though. It would be pretty streetable and a pleasure to drive. Norms got some wild gearing, and some serious time into his engine. his hogged out cyl. head is helping too id bet. Search for his name if you want to find out what he has done. If anything, use him for reference. He helped me out ALOT with my old N/A motor. Evan.... PS the early gen su carbs rule.

Guys, need some help. Im finally prepping my car for boost and i have one problem. I have a used profec A, and the instructions say not to exceed a certain length of hose in this thing. The lengh is designated with a circle with a line through it. If someone could either tell me the max length for the hoses or let me know what the length designation is id be most apreicative. I know its something metric but it pretty much slips my mind right now. Evan

I second john, i got patch panels for the rear of the rocker area where a bit of rust set in. I got my parts through JC whitney! The quality was pretty amusing considering some of the crap they sell.. Evan PS... the price is WAY right

It could be mismatched injectors. Does the motor make any other odd noises? Id say for 800 bucks, as long as its mechanically sound (you can chase electrical gremlins later)its a good deal. As far as larger injectors... dont bother with the stock EFI system unless you do an IC and turn up the boost. IMO, the car wont run terribly well with big injectors and stock FI. The AFM can be tuned, but that thing will idle pretty rich. My bud did that on a turbo car with good results, but the exhaust burned your eyes at idle!! Whats ambient temp when the car is idling funny? I wonder if the cold start is somehow messed up too. Evan

Whatsup man. I have heard bad things about the deltagate. Im sure its too small for your app anyways. The Racegate is a decent unit. I have been looking at the TIAL wastegate for awhile now. Its really sweet looking, and construction looks pretty good. Search yahoo for em and im sure you will come up with some pics and information. I would be curious to know whether a supra WG could be adapted for the smaller L motors. Im sure it would work fine. Later and good luck! - Evan

zspeed, my car is a purple color but blue when seen in direct sunlight. Most people just call it purple so i went with that. LOL. Spare tire? whats that. If there was one in there it would be pretty difficult to get it out of the hole the 12" is sitting in. I never had a spare so figured why start now! I can hear my exhaust over ANYTHING. 3" with a dynomax race magnum bullet muffler. The bass is still very audible at the obligitory 3k cruise drone. Thanks for the compliment - Evan

The one sub is excellent for sound quality. It blends pretty well. It will get loud too if thats your cup of tea, but the aluminum is not the choice if you like your bass loud. I dont think two tens would have worked as well for my application.

Thure, sounds good, amp and xover are minor details LOL. The bottom of the box is .5" thick fiberglass and the lid is 2 inches thick. Its very solid, but still removable. Theres plenty of room left, but i never carry anything anyways! Evan
