  1. I cannot remember whether or not the PP will work. I know the disk will if that helps. My memory is a bit foggy on that whole deal. I spent a bunch of time researching before I got my ACT then promptly forgot everything!! lol. Evan
  2. Scottie, ill be surprised if you get into the 11s with an XTD. Mine was literally burnt after a year of driving on it hard (and one trip to the track in GA). I highly reccomend you don't use it. Ask garrett, he drove my car with that clutch in it at the track. Tried slipping it out of the hole, and boy did it slip! Just giving you headsup, I hope it works better for you then it did me. Evan
  3. sign up at http://www.zilvia.net and look through thier classifieds for wheels. Alot of nice offset 4 lug wheels over there for good prices used. Evan
  4. Do a search for the company that was using dual northstar motors in the cadillacs. I think it was the eldorado. They used dual auto trannies and relied on the torque converters to make up the small difference in RPM that the motor might be seeing. I always thought it was kind of cool. Evan
  5. Actually on a whim I pulled a fuse for one of them. Yeah it still sounds like a jet, but less than half as annoying. I can't hear the fans light off on the highway with the windows up anymore! lol. Car is running alright, have done more street tuning but there is something else wrong and I can't quite figure it out. I had the air fuel dialed in pretty well but it changes too much with weather. There may be too much turbulence with the maf where it is located also. Take it easy man. I take it you smashed the 350z? Ill have to search. Evan
  6. I agree with scottie fully. Just an FYI, rb does NOT stand for Race Bred. Thats an internet rumor. Just wanted to clear that up. Evan
  7. Nice car, a freind of mine has a GTO. I helped him do some audio installation. Very nice, well built car. I would buy one. BTW, this is Evan with the green 95' 240sx.
  8. Rick, if you decided to dump a pair of those 10.5s let me know. I am casually looking for something cool looking for DR on my 240sx. Evan
  9. Just a quick note for you guys, the 275/35/18s look a little wide on a 9.5" wide wheel on my 240sx. Pirelli P9000 SS tires. I had falken 265/35/18 and they were definitely stretched like the white car, but not as bad. I think falken tires run "skinny" so ask about actual tread width. Evan
  10. K040340 is the belt I use. Double check before you get it, this is by memory. Thats a Gates number btw. Evan
  11. Wow, nice runs! How in the world are you putting down any power with those tires???? Evan
  12. Did you get my email? I don't imagine your going to get one for under 20 bucks. If you do want it let me know, I kept it as insurance but i really don't need it. Evan
  13. I have the ACT in the link, but sprung version. I would definitely buy it again. Its not "easy" to drive but pretty tollerable once you get used to it. Biggest problem is when I get used to wearing certain shoes, I change then I kill it usually LOL. Anyone at SEZ in the stands at the end of the day probabally saw garrett do a hard launch slipping the clutch. Thats all it did... slip LOL. I was just glad there was enough grip to get me back up here! Evan
  14. I had my machine shop make me one of those elbows. Worked fine. Evan
  15. Does this sard directly replace your stock FPR on the fuel rail? You do have to remove the stock unit. If you have the sard that does not directly replace the one on the rail email me. I had a piece made for my motor that looks like the factory FPR but is actually a bypass so I could use an aeromotive FPR. Evan
  16. My car is blow through. I haven't made it to 22 psi yet. THE biggest problem I see with the blow through is turbulence. My car runs well and idles well. HOWEVER, I had to tune for the blow through. Stock ECU and blow through is not good. You will run way rich (I did). I have my Maf map in my power FC almost maxed out at 20psi. I did my blow through over a year ago FYI. I am happy I did it that way, but wish I had more straight pipe before/after to smooth flow. My cover has not threatened to blow off yet. I popped the stock cover off my old MAF and siliconed it on for security purposes! Take it easy man, nice numbers BTW. Evan
  17. Hey man, who made your intake? You? looks good! Evan BTW, if your so inclined to make another sign me up!
  18. Did you get the harness grounds reconnected when you put everything back together? I had a misfire due to a bad harness ground at the front of the motor near the water outlet on the intake manifold. There is also a small ground on the back of the intake manifold as well. Evan
  19. You cannot do a map setup with a power FC. Unless its D-jetro and you cannot get that for your rb25det. Just the 26dett. I love my power FC, why would you bother with a non plug and play unit unless you don't have/want the stock harness? One thing, don't even consider FC unless you are willing to buy fc-datalogit software! Mapping and a good user interface is where its at. I paid 1200 or so with the datalogit software. Evan
  20. Pete, great information on the coils. I will probabally upgrade to the LS1 units on my RB. The stock RB coils are weak sauce, and tend to fail under high boost levels unless you are using a rediculously small gap. Evan
  21. Just buy the wideband, you won't regret it. I had a four wire greddy narrowband in my car, and still ended up getting a wideband. I should have bought the w/b in the first place. Evan
  22. I had my machine shop modify a stock FPR into a bypass, you can buy it if you need it. Bolts right into the rail and gives a barb out.
  23. Hey man, looks like an ambitious project. Just wanted to give you headsup that you may (probabally will) have problems with cracking if you don't completely seam weld the outer body panels in. I have seen it happen with shaved door handles etc... and actually with some bodywork that I had done on my z. Otherwise keep it up, takes some nads to cut up a car like that! Evan
  24. Dude, nice setup. You smell. I have a clutch and flywheel on the way! Good to see your car running man. Evan
  25. Anything above 13psi and your asking to blow all the blades off of the turbo. Its not a matter of if, its when. Ceramic blades suck.
