  1. Yeah I'm sure you'll be able to take it off. IF anything take a razor blade and angle it and slide it on the glass. If you have tint you could cut it so that may not be a good idea but if it's tint free that will work well! Just don't dig into the glass.
  2. Dude, awesome updates! Glad to see it's back on the road, keep on tinkering and get it to where you want it! I am very jealous ha
  3. Well said @Ironhead! good things to think about.
  4. I suppose it's more for strength huh? I was thinking it was a full sequential but watching the video you're still shifting in a pattern.
  5. ah that explains it, forgot about that!! How are you liking it?? Have you seen a dramatic improvement in your lap times?
  6. That sounds gnarly, Did I miss something? Do you have a supercharger now??
  7. Is that a jig for your oil pan to prevent warping? @Jethoncho
  8. Man congrats on the first start! Such a nice feeling, you're so close to driving it again!! As far as timing goes, I know nothing so all I can do is cheer you on from the sidelines! What is your social handle?
  9. oh interesting! Are you going to solid mount that or use some bushings? I could see that being much easier to drop in than what I'm doing (same motor mounts and I just built new mounts on the new engine) ha. Lining up the bolts is a pain for me!
  10. Ah smart! And that's a good idea. I double flared -6AN fittings on mine (except for the last joint where teh tool stopped working for me and I'm stuck there until I buy a new tool ha). So are you done with the lines?
  11. What does your engine cradle look like? Is it one of those that bolt up in between the tranny and engine and are basically a big sheet of metal?
  12. Yeah man get at it! I will say, even on the 240z the fuel lines were a pain. They would've been easy if I took out the rear diff/mounts/etc. but with that all in there I had to guess a bit on angles and length of bends. It turned out all right though, definitely some margin room thankfully. I'm getting my rolll cage painted today so I'll have to upload some soon and we can keep this motivation moving!
  13. Man I'm surprised I've never seen this, I'm looking forward to seeing this happen! Following it now for sure!
  14. What do you need the relay board for? I've never considered that they'd have those ha.
  15. Keep it up man! For myself, I don;t know if I would go through all that work. I don't really see why people think the 240's are so much better. The styling is obliviously different but neither seems better or worse to me. Maybe I'm just missing something ha.
  16. Dang, I actually already have a pair of the glue in type, I'm trying to find a new pair fo the clip in type as I feel like they fit better. I'll probably just go to a junkyard and get an Altima set or whatever it is. That is a generous offer though man, I appreciate that!
  17. Are your doors seals the clip in ones or just glue in? And thanks for the kind words, can't wait to be done!
  18. That's the spirit! I also plan on taking as much time as I can during this whole CV shutdown to work on my Z, that makes me pretty excited for sure ha. I never seam seaed my car after getting it blasted. I probably should but I also am not super worried about it as it will mostly be a track only car. Probably better do it anyway! Do you think you'll be able to finish it after these things?
  19. I don't know if you saw how I did it, but I used one of the holes and mounted two clamps on it, leaving the second existing hole open for the brake line! It was easier for me than 3D printing but if your cousin knows his stuff than the opposite may be true for you. Plus the cool points of 3D printing your own parts! ha. That is looking awesome! I need to upgrade my ECU for the RB eventually. One day! Very clean mount that you've made though.
  20. I relocated my battery behind the passenger seat! I probably will need to move it now that I have a cage installed, I haven;t gotten there yet but I wanted to look at cutting out the inside of one of the storage bins behind the seats and building a battery box in that! I've seen it done and it ends up being pretty clean. Also, If you don;t plan on heavy duty racing I'd look at the Toyota 4x4 brake swap. Forgive me if you've already done that and I didn't see it in the thread! That is the best GNose I've seen I think. I don;t like them usually but I like yours ha.
  21. Dang that battery tray is pretty spiffy! It's coming together! Are you against using the universal rubber clamps you can buy online?
