  1. Not a bolt on situation, but this should help... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=115550
  2. I'm still trying to figure out which side is the dumb side... HAHAHA
  3. You have a welder, why not take the seat reclining device apart and weld the teeth back on it? You can shape them with a simple hand file and they'll probably be harder when you're done than when they were originally. Don't EVER be afraid to be creative. Just and idea...it'll only take you some time, a bit of wire and some electricity.
  4. Nice house. Just make sure that the one you build is on a FLAT lot...driveways with that much angle suck.
  5. Proper installation has alot to do with how they look. If they're moulded in, like they should be (IMO), they look like they're supposed to be there. Without them, the front and rears would just look silly.
  6. No need to rethread the linkage rod, or replace the yellowed ball swivel, other than looks. Use that rotary rasp to remove that corner protruding out into it's path on the manifold itself...it serves no purpose.
  7. Finish what you've started or you'll always be wondering, what if?
  8. Speaking of air tools... Click (HA HA FUNNY)
  9. 4 words, choose either 2... JET HOT or Exhaust Wrap I chose both (through the system) Jet Hot for the manifold and turbo hot side, and exhaust wrapped from the turbo to the flange above the rear crossmember. No regrets and no heat transfer to the floor/tunnel/tranny. Can almost hold your hand on the wrapped portion after a good run. I double layered the pipe using 1/8" thick wrap...looks like a wooly mammoth's trunk, but it stays cool on the outside.
  10. Wait, isn't that the first sign of senility?
  11. No Boortz, I saw it posted on another site. Didn't know about the Boortz thing until long after I first saw the video.
  12. This is almost unbelievable...probably a hoax, but if it's real, somebody needs to take up a collection to get this guy some new underwear. WHEW!!!
  13. Happy Birfday John...now you're as old as me...hehehe
  14. Glad to know it's not just me... Been seeing it now for a couple of hours... reload the page (hit F5) and it sometimes comes up as it should.
  15. Best bet is Ebay...keep an eye out for parts cars locally to you as well...these parts have been out of production for so long now it's almost ridiculous to even think of finding NOS (New Old Stock) parts of this type.
  16. "That pipe is also hurting your airflow more then likely because the flow at the back of the pipe is probably turbulent. Not only is it not allowing the air to cool the back of the pipe via convection but the air behind it is going to be stagnate, rendering that area of the intercooler less effective." Never blown out a candle sitting behind a beer bottle? Same effect utilized here.
  17. Sounds slightly familiar...(picture taken during mockup, completed since) Works for me, IAT's stay low too.
  18. Happy Birthday to all the Valentine's Day products! There seems to be ALOT of them.
  19. OH, ok, well, that piece of pipe that shouldn't even be there looks to be a patch (not a good one at that) of some sort. The real hose should be just the right length and fit like a glove.
  20. I just told you (a couple of posts up), it's a PCV hose, made of rubber, about a foot long with a 90 degree bend in it. I know the hose, but didn't remember whether or not the ends were the same size. Only hot air and perhaps some oil (in vapor form) should be going through it. It's purpose is to connect the crankcase to the intake manifold to alleviate block pressure and keep a vacuum on the block itself and thus decreasing oil blow by at the piston rings, as well as other functions. Search "PCV system" on here, alot has been written about it. EDIT: Ok, I was NOT correct about the ends being the same size. Here is the item you want, a place to get it, and an easy link to click. Click Here This part MAY be available from your local Nissan dealership, (and may cost less).
  21. If I'm not mistaken, the PCV Valve (where the hose clamp is in the first picture above) and the vent pipe that the other end connects to are the same size. That piece of steel pipe (again, in the first picture) shouldn't even be there.
  22. PCV hose, connected between the PCV valve hanging off of the bottom of the intake and the crankcase breather tube that comes out of the block under the distributor. Just find another hose with similar ends and connect the two back together (if that hose is bad).
