  1. OK so for fiberglass with speaker pods we have Billseph 240zstroked kj280z ZT-R rags camrashy if we can get a one off without speaker pods If I have someone's interest wrong, please let me know. We have enough interest. I will be sacrificing my door panels and sending the deposit. Joe
  2. ZT-R, Look here http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/101709-fiberglass-door-panels-wspeaker-holes/ Joe
  3. Great Ken! Ok now we need to find a set of door panels to donate as a template. It doesn't really matter what year as we will all be drilling our own armrest holes and using the tops of our existing door panels. Anyone have a set to donate? Joe
  4. Guy's, First and foremost, I am going to stick to the original request to have fiberglass panels with speaker pods molded in them. I have let Pete know there is also interest in having CF panels made as well as panels without speaker pods. I'll leave it up to him to decide if he wants to also make the other requested panels. What I'm looking for is this but using stock door handles. courtesy of Janaka Joe
  5. I'd start with fuel. Change the fuel filter and clean out the screen in the fuel pump. Joe
  6. I'm trying to get another run of fiberglass door panels with speaker pods built in for the 280Z. I have contacted Pete and he let me know if I get enough interest, he will make them again. The quality of the panels has has made previously is exceptional. Search for fiberglass door panels to see what I'm talking about. Pete's hybrid name is Rayven14. Respond to this post if you are interested. Joe
  7. Mike, Yep, watched the last build very closely From what I can see, you already have all of the pieces to make 400RWHP. Mine has done it with TR Stage II 5.3 heads, and a FAST 90 intake manifold, 1.7 Yella Terra rockers and shorty headers from JTR. I'm just not sure about your cam. I'm using a cam with 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA specs. I mentioned the dry sump because the guy that is doing my tuning recommends it for road cars that pull a lot of G's which you car looks like it will! Joe
  8. Mike, You should get on the group buy for custom long tube headers that 1 Tuff Z is running. Also, read the article in the new Hot Rod magazine. They turbo'd an LS motor and kept upping the boost to see how much it would take to blow it up. Over a thousand HP and it never did blow up. The kicker is the motor was only a 4.8! I'd spend the money on a dry sump system and leave the rods and pistons stock. That is unless you are planning for a total engine overhaul, then why not build a big cube motor Joe
  9. Found them. Brand new never mounted. $100 plus shipping. Joe
  10. I might have a new set of HP Blues in the garage. Give me this weekend to find them. I'm assuming this is for stock length strut tubes. Joe
  11. Oh no! It's on it's way back to my garage! Now it WILL be finished within 2 weeks
  12. Or is that the clutch line?? Dos the car have a working clutch? From the picture, it seems to be missing a slave cylinder as well.
  13. Thanks Sunny. What I need to know is what fittings to use. Size and thread pitch is what I'm looking for.
  14. Look inside the bumper. There is another nut that I'm sure you are missing. It is inside the bumper on the top side. Tough to describe but it's up there.
  15. Anyone? Still looking to have the AC hoses made. Does anyone know what fittings I should use? Thanks Joe
  16. Does anyone know what the mount center distance is on the 240sx rear calipers? I'm wanting to replace them with Wilwoods and was going to try to order a set that would bolt up to the MM caliper brackets. I'd measure myself but I'm no where near my car at the moment
  17. Well one thing I can tell you is I have never seen a Toyota caliper used for a Z upgrade that has a 90 degree fluid line connection. Everyone I have seen threads directly into the caliper. This is what you are looking for http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/39435-help-what-brake-options-are-available-for-s30-z-cars/
  18. Take a picture of the caliper. I've had these on my cars and they definitely do fit. Sounds like you might not have the correct ones.
  19. Trimming the backing plate is mentioned. Either remove the backing plate completely or trip it to clear the larger calipers.
  20. Mike, nice work! shouldn't rub now! Joe
  21. Clive, just tell me what I have to do. I don't know why I've wasted my time trying to figure this out for myself.
  22. Ahh got it. Further out from the center the easier it is to stop the disk! I kept thinking heat dissipation was the only reason for a larger rotor. I'm glad I asked
