  2. It helps allot if you match the angle of the wheel pic to the angle of the car pic. Find another picture of the wheels from a straight on view or take another picture of your car equal to that of the angle of the picture of the wheel.
  3. Yea, so my brain was thinking that the gas and air mixture was comming in the intake port. Since that is wrong, where is the gas comming from?
  4. Do you consider using a 2.8 crank cheating? If not, then that would help a bit and you could keep the 2.4 block.

  6. I also noticed your post on swapping in a sr20det into a 280zx, youd probally just be better off going with a 240sx. But a stiff chasis and suspension plus both rear wheels spinning usually does the trick. A good amount of neg camber on the front with as much caster as you can get without rubbing helps.

  10. Is there any room to do this intercooler setup in a z? Has anyone done it? Seems like itd be a whole lot better then using an intercooler with tanks at both ends.

  13. I'm sure the lag getting those numbers sucks though =P I remember seeing some hackjob, stickwelded, random mass of iron turbo manifold on a mk1 mr2 and the owner saying something about boost starting up at 4k rpm...

Your best bet is to put together some combo of a head and a block to have higher compression than stock.(not starting a block/head war) Use the search to best decide which head and block to use. Get a cam that is best matched with the compression and performance in mind. Use worked SUs or tripples with a header and exhaust. Be happy with a 160-200hp mild build. I say this only because this is pretty much a mild build, not much machining, not much money, then again not much hp/tq but you have to make sacrifices.
  15. While yes, I can kinda read your questions, 68% of hybridz is full of very wise, informative people that are blind as crap because they're 100+ years old. So you might want to increase the size of your font so people dont have to copy and paste it to enlarge it. Creating a wider track rear suspension sounds like a project. I've read that you can mount/fab up a 240sx rear suspension onto a z and that will widen your rear track, so you might look into that. As for low offset wheels, Ill leave that to someone else as im not 100% sure on how Id go about answering that question. Hell, Ill try. Basically you cant run a 12 inch wide wheel unless you have like 18s-19s because you wont find decent streetable tires for them. So realistically your going to have to use a 15 or 16. They dont really make performance tires in these sizes super wide, so you'll probally be limited to a 8-9.5 inch width wheel. This only leaves you so much room to backspace before your at like -75 offset. I'm stopping here, hope to have given you some ideas. Ask for me to clarify if your confused.

I was checking out another z board and saw your name as on 3 go and then it all finally came together. Yes, for some reason I felt this was post worthy.
