Have avatars been locked down to 80 x 80 even if you link? I see many other members with larger avatars. I ask because I can now link but I get a message saying that 80 x 80 is the limit. ...yes I have avatar envy.......

After changing ISP's I have reloaded my web page for those of you who wanted to check out my progress. I have not done anything in the past three months however because of the surgery I had on my hands. (I had the worst case of Carpul Tunnel the doc had ever seen!) You can find the link in my sig.... hope...

The one in the post is larger res than the one on the left. The one on the left is the largest (80 x 80 pixels) that you can upload from your computer. To use a custom av you have to link to it. I actually want to use an animated gif but even if I could link to it the forum album will not accept it .

I still cannot hotlink to my custom avatar. I still get the same error no matter where I host it. Error - cannot find an image at the specified URL. Please make sure that you have entered a valid URL. At first I thought it was my ISP but since I have tried several other locations I now think that I do not have the correct access or something. Your help is appreciated. The current link would be: http://album.hybridz.org/data/500/90773.png I can link in the body of a post but not in the edit avatar feild.

JB weld will be blown out by the pressure of the exaust. Sorry to say it will not work. A better bet (very temporary) may be some of that resin / fibercloth wrap you can buy to fix exaust leaks. At least that way you can wrap it around, and it will hold itself. Maybe JB weld then the wrap, but JB weld will not hold on its own....don't ask how I know.....

Unfortunately no... I can link to the pic I want in the post section, (larger one below...previous post) but I can't link to it for my avatar. I reduced it to 80x80 and uploaded it to the avatar folder (smaller on the left) the post section is no prob...

It just won't load. I think it may be the ISP. Heh...Plankton......He's always mad....I like him..... Tim I will try that. However it is an animated gif and I did not think it would work. Is that where you keep your banner?

C'mon guys I know I bunch of you have them, as I did until very recently. Please let me know if you had trouble linking, and advice as to what you did if you indeed did have trouble.Thanks!

I feel your pain brother. I work full time during the day, and do the school thing at night. True it sucks, but you are doing the right thing. I have one more semester and I will have my second degree. Education is what it takes to make it today. Then, you will have time for the Z. Take pride, and do your best. Keep an eye open for other places that may support your education endevors, (usually larger scale employers) they pay for education and help you get through. Some employers really respect those that do the school thing. Good Luck!! Rufus

I tried to watch this show last night. The show would be alright if it didn't have the two wanna be homeboy / homegirl wee-todds as hosts. I thought that their remarks we useless and aimed at teenagers. It also reminded of an info-mercial with the constant plugs for flowmaster and they other sponsors. I mean no offense to Machior and the other guys that like the show...I guess I am just a crab-ass skeptic like my wife says. I enjoy watching the fab work but could do without the filler. I also can't watch american chopper or the boyd hotrod show because its all about the drama,and these shows rely on this aspect for itheir audience. Monster Garbage rates about the same for me...all show no go. Biker build off is ok because fabbin is the heart of the show and the sheet talkin' is kept to a minimum. Sorry to be a bummer but you asked...
