  1. lmao, i gotta go there. BTW hows it goin Bob?
  2. this one http://www.pdkfabrication.bravepages.com/240%20front.htm I like it but its kinda expensive, does anyone here have this brace? If so how easy/hard was it to install?
  3. Purple240ZT has his intercooler set up for sale in the classifieds, the price isnt bad either http://hybridz.org/nuke/modules.php?op=modload&name=zClassifieds&file=detail&cat=72&de=91
  4. I have a Forza for a drivers seat, and the wings hit the door panel a little bit. Theres about 1 inch between the seat and the transmission tunnel (stock sliders) so if you wanted to fabricate something to move it it would fit perfect. BTW You should consider the Corbeau Clubman seats, they are incredibly bolstered and dont hit the panels.[
  5. instead of a go-kart, how about a hotrod project?
  6. yea, I love that smell too, too bad it doesnt anymore (new carpet, seats, sound proofing) . The Z smell to me is similar to the old Mercedes smell.
  7. Im hoping to get my dad's 81 zxt engine pretty soon, but I was wondering if the turbo downpipe will attach to a 280z exhaust. If I do this swap im planning on putting on a catback exhaust (from MSA) but will I have to do some cutting/welding to make it fit? Thanks, Joey
  8. quote]Do ya think he might be one of those new imports (from californ-eye-a)? We might need some more rules. dear god...
  9. im using the stock belts on my Corbeau seats, they're forzas and clubmans but it kinda the same thing. When I got them, they had already been drilled in the base for the stock sliders. All there really is to it is to drill 4 holes.
  10. well at least u guys had Speed TV or some sort of racing channel for a while, we have crappy ComCast cable that keeps jacking us around. I think they rig their digtal cable boxes to stop working so we have to buy a new one
  11. The car has been lowered about 2-2.5 in
  12. wow, im glad your ok. Hope you get better soon, but this kinda makes me rethink wanting to get a bike
  13. wow, thats amazing!! talk about craftsmanship
  14. I would have been there but it was my sister's b-day party
  15. lol busting up laughing when I saw it while i was "researching" in History class
  16. haha! now it idles really smooth! Gonna take it for a test drive tomorrow!
  17. DO A SEARCH! j/k I havent got the chance to say that yet Here, I did the work for you, http://hybridz.org/nuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=31320&highlight= http://hybridz.org/nuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=32052&highlight= If you want more info PM Turbo Meister
  18. reminds me of the old gasket, except it had been burned between cylinder 1 and 2
  19. for only 10 sec before it ran out out of gas, but im glad I finally got something to run I wanted to get this thing to run, because Im gonna get the whole engine, rear discs, and everything else needed for a swap, for FREE! If i can get it ready hopefully tomorrow we can take it for a ride(its still registered for this month), but it is one sorry looking car. Peeling paint, rust exploding everywhere, slightly moldy interior , luckily the last owner took better mechanical care of it. Maybe we can do some burnouts . Finally my car will become a HybridZ, but not for a while
  20. My dad got called out to a car sitting on the side of the highway. It was a mechanic (a young guy) and his boss test driving a customer's new Jaguar XK coupe. It turned out that the mechanic was servicing the car and in the hurry he forgot to put oil back in! Dont be too hard on him, but Im glad I havent destroyed any engines yet
  21. our science teacher showed us that a while back, heres the sitehttp://www.dhmo.org/ I thought it was real too
  22. I think I figured out why my car isnt starting. During the disassembly and assembly the injectors where close to a pretty weak magnet (the kind that is used to pick up small screws ect) and my Dad accidentally layed a light with a magent base on the #2 injector for about 3 seconds. How sensitive are the injectors, would the short exposure ruin them? Luckily its a easy fix if thats it
