Happy B-Day! 16 is just around the corner for me!

On Sunday (the show) I bought their premium exhaust system for the stock manifold. I opened it up today to install it only to find they gave me the wrong one, I got the one for headers which costs some $40 less. I hope hey better send me the headpipe (I can pay for shipping) instead of making a big deal about it, I havent dealt with them much so I dont know how this is going to work. We'll see...

so a 77' Z will never be smog exempt? Luckily my car will be exempt even if they do pass it , it still sucks though

I just finished putting the injectors back on after soaking them, and it still isnt getting any fuel into the cylinders. I also noticed that the brake lights, fan, and lowbeams dont work either (they did when the car was running pre dissasembly). Could they and the FI be connected?

the same thing happened to my sister's old bug. The brakes would go soft and there wouldnt be any fluid leaking. It turned out that the mastercylinder was leaking internally, and after that was replaced it was fine. Maybe you can rebuild it instead of replacing it for a quick fix

The show was huge this year. I got to meet Tim240Z and see some other HybridZ cars, there werent too many turbo conversions this year. I saw TurboMeister's car, HOLY DODO!!! those turbos are huge! There were some crazy Z's there, especially this Z32 with murals all over it with some girl with scars on her face, I dont know what was up with that, but it was umm... interesting. It was a great trip up from San Jose, but its too bad that we couldnt bring any of our Z's. But the rented Alero was great, it was pretty powerful, had great brakes, got 25mpg doing 85mph, great quality and the damn thing even had good handling. I have some pics of the show I took, but I cant post em until they get developed. Even the cheap Econolodge room was pretty nice, and there were some cute waitresses . Next year, the Z is goin...hopefully BTW go to the Katella Grill, the best resteraunt food Ive had in years!

you could lay the paint on thick and then wetsand it. That should get it smooth

Ive had a lot of small problems to sort out, and now I have to unclog my injectors. Hopefully it will get running soon if thats it

ok, I'll start by replacing the fuel line. And if that doesnt solve it I'll clean the injectors. I hope this works

As for the fuel leak, it doesnt run so it cant get hot. But as soon as it runs im going to replace the line. I'll look into getting a noid light, thanks

Well, it seems that it isnt getting any fuel into the cylinders. The only plugs that get any fuel on them at all are 1 and 6. The rest are bone dry, even after minutes of cranking (not all at once ). I know there is fuel in the lines because i have a small leak in on of the hoses on the fuel rail. I dont think that the injectors are bad because it ran great before we took it apart to replace the HG. If they are stuck then how can I get them flowing (even with injector cleaner)? BTW I have a 280zxt fuel pump on the car (the old on crapped out on me after dissasembly), could that be messing up the injectors because of the extra fuel flow?
